Pros:

Proactiv really worked for me!My skin is now better than before,maybe it's not good for everyone especially with very sensitive with benzol peroxide.

Cons:

My face kept shiny

Pros:

Ease of use, results within a week, shipping schedule

Cons:

The price is a little high, but worth it.

I am 33 years old and I have been using proactiv since I was 21! I have clean, clear skin. There has been a couple of times over the last 5 years that I ran out of it and I went without for a month and my acne began to develop again. I called them up and asked them to rush a shipment to me! I thought because maybe I was older, that I might not have acne issues anymore, but it seems to be something that persists. After 12 years of use, I do not see any long term side affects yet. Although, I am very fortunate enough to have good genetics, such that I look about 26 or 27 rather than 33! Proactiv really does work and I cant live without it. Also, to make it last, I only use it once a day and that works well for me. I do not use the repairing lotion, however I do use the 'advanced blemish treatment' occasionally if I see something developing. I recommend this product to anyone who has acne.

Pros:

unscented, easy to use, eventually works

Cons:

slightly expensive, takes a while to work

I started using Pro-activ about 2 months ago. I had moderate acne and had been seeing a dermatologist to no results. So i finally decided to give proactiv a try and at 1st it made my skin much much worse. I called proactiv & they insisted i keep it up, that it was drawing the bacteria out of my skin. sure enough they were right!!! After about a month and a half, my skin is just about clear, with the occasional pimple. For those who want to quit after a month, stick in there, it works.

Pros:

REally has helped with acne and rashes on face. Not as abrasive as some prescriptions I have used in the past.

Cons:

none that I have experienced yet.

I use it most every day and night. I don't wash forthe whole 2 minutes and I don't scrub my face to hard with the clenser therefore makeing it not as abrasive. It's been the best think I've used since I've had acne problems.

Pros:

Helped get rid of on sight acne but doesn't really prevent new ones. Helped my skin feel smoother when i followed the system everyday.

Cons:

not much of a long term effect. The "Club" thing you end joining will continue to mail you the 3 set system so you can end up with too much unused products... waste of money.

worked ok for me, might work for you. there are cheaper things out there that probably work better than this. Don't listen to the hype.

Pros:

This stuff really works. Will make your face look clear.

Cons:

It can be pricey for some people.

Well. I'm a 19 yr. old male and suffers from acne. Proactiv really works. I've been using it for about 10 days now and i've seen dramatic results. Pimple sizes shrunk and blemishs lightened. I'm sure within two more weeks my face will be completely clear. I do get one pimple here and there but that is just because it takes pimples 2 weeks to appear on the skin. So if you still break out after one week of use dont be discouraged because that will be normal. So after a month or two you'll be glad you stuck to this product. Also. Try and figure what works for your face. For example. I dont like using the toner. So i just skip that step. And yes your face will dry up and flake. But that will last just for a few days and then brand new clear skin will show. WOusld you rather have a few days of dry skin? Or months suffering with acne? I pick the few days. So stick with proactiv and you'll see results. And if the ordering is a problem check out your local mall. They should sell it there too.

Pros:

Works at first.

Cons:

Price, didn't work, drying.

I tried Proactive TWICE. The first time it clear my skin up in a few days, but by two weeks in my skin was just as bad as ever and it never cleared up again. And it can dry your skin out. This product WON'T work for everyone no matter what the commercials say. If you have already tried BP or SA, there's really no reason to try this product, since those are the active ingredients.

Really great,I only got acne on my forehead and temples and it suddenly stopped breakouts, My skin was oily and now thats gone as well Im really happy with the results

Pros:

Worked for me when nothing else did.

Cons:

Pricey - and delivery at uneven intervals.

I was at the end of my rope and tried it out of sheer desparation. The first 2 weeks saw no improvement, but then in the third week the results were dramatic. Now I can leave the house without mkeup - before, I would need three coats of makeup to be seen in public. No one can expect one product to work for everyone - but Proactive worked for me! If you've tried everything else...why not try Proactive? You might try buying it from another source to see if it works before getting locked into the "club" program.

Pros:

it made all the pimples that made me self-cautious get smaller.. and they are almost gone

Cons:

once in a while it burns but the burning feeling went away after about 5 minutes

i freaking love it.. i was using cover up to cover up my pimples, but with proactiv i dont have to.. and it makes me feel better about myself
