Cons:

It Burned My Skin For 5 Years As I Wanted To Look Like Jessica Simpson. But It Doesn't. I've Got A Pimple On My Eye Lid Because Of That. I Had To Have An Opperation. It Doesn't Work!!!

Pros:

Doesnt casue redness or flaking. Seems to work well for a little bit if used consistently.

Cons:

Expensive. Long process. Resistance builds up after acouple months and still break out especially if i skip a day.

seems to work for allitle bit if used consistenly but is expensive and takes awhile to apply. everyone seems to have a different response so go ahead and give it a shot.

Pros:

I'm 14 yrs old. Yeash I'm young. And I have had a bad case of acne since I was about 10 or 11 yrs. old. I hate my skin, and it's so irritating, so I decided to try Proactiv. For the first few weeks my skin felt great and it seemed to be working.

Cons:

After a few months it looked like it was getting better, but now I've used proactiv for about a year and it's not making any progress. I think my face is getting worse. I want to stop, but I have no idea what to use.

I have very bad scars and acne all over my face, mainly on my cheeks, and they won't go away. I've tried about everything. Neutrogena, Clean and clear, this one acne kit from another infomercial, Johnsons Baby, and lots more. Nothing seems to be working at all. I'm still using proactiv, but if anybody has suggestions on other products I can use please do tell. THESE PIMPLES ARE KILLING ME! (Proactiv still hasn't made progress on my skin.)

Pros:

when you wash your face with the cleanser it feels great

Cons:

.. but that doesnt mean that it works. the cleanser dried my skin, then the toner burned it, and the lotion killed it lol. no but seriously, it dried my skin so bad, and it hurt.

it dried my skin espacially around my mouth, and it was starting to be grey.. ok that wasnt normal, and the skin on my nose was always extremely dry, it was peeling of.. when i went to school in the morning my face was so tight, it hurt too, because it was just, so dry. and the pimples didnt really go away. and the product bleached everything, i just dont think that a product that bleaches everything is good for you face.......... im tired of crappy products and stupid celebreties that lie on tv just so they get payed big bucks, they just went to the dermatologist and payed 2000 dollars for something better.

Cons:

I have tried it for month but my pimples remain the same. my pimples keeps on multiplying spreading on my nose. i used proactiv in the morning & evening. i follow the guidelines but it never had a good effect on me. such waste of money!

Pros:

It helps from making my acne disappear. It was very smooth when i put it on.

Cons:

If you choose to put the Refining Mask over night, believe me your face will feel like a cement. My skin peels after I used the Renewing Cleaser, but that's what probably happen if you don't have the Revitalizing toner though.

Not many products works like proactiv.It gives you shiny skin. Don't ever use 1 step alone because it doesn't work without the other 2 steps.

Pros:

It helps calm the big zits.

Cons:

It makes your skin dry and red,and the product cost a lot of money.

I have been using proactive for over 2 yrs and it didn't do much for me. I have mild to moderate acne and i must say that the only reason i kept buying it was because i didn't know what else to buy. But now i am off of it and i am using clinique. I hope it will help me!!!! Good luck

Pros:

Seemed like it was gentle, maybe it is gentle enough for some.

Cons:

Temporary improvement followed by total nosedive

I am in the camp with folks who got the worst skin of their lives from Proactiv. For me too, after about 3 weeks I saw an improvement but after that, forget it. I have never been this shiny or broken out. I also stuck with it thinking it was pulling the worst out, but it's been 4 months now. I am sensitive and also older and I think it's just too harsh. I also get foliculitis and rosacea in small areas and that is flaring up like never before. And yes, I did phase the usage in as advised. Also the fragrances I could do without.

Pros:

nothing. It just made it worse

Cons:

Makes it worse if you skip even a day of using it

This thing sucks. Waste of money and isn't very effective. It saps your wallet.

Pros:

The texture and scent are wonderful, and leave your face feeling squeeky clean.

Cons:

Dries out your skin, doesn't seem to be working like it did a few years ago.

I think they may have changed the ingredients because it used to be way better than it is now, or maybe my body has just decided it doesn't really like Proactive any more. Either way, its way too expensive to be as much of a disappointment as it is. Good luck
