Pros:

ben6zoyl peroxide really gets rid of stubborn blemishes... have a nice translcent glow.. to my skin... soft

Cons:

it takes about 1 mnth for ur skin to start to clear.... durign the month you break out horribley.. it lifts up all the impurities.
skin cam get flaky if overused.
once u stop usage you get really painfull under the skin lumps which really hurt.

its okay.... i ts really hard to say that it works or that it doesnt.. itsepends on the person.. iwould not reccomend it if you have acne.... if you have a few zits or blemishes.. then sure.. but not if you have oozing acne... it worked for me... but now i feel that i am obligated to use it for life.. becasue when idont.. i break out.

Pros:

Great product for me. Cleared up all of my acne, outbreaks became more infrequent.

Cons:

Can be overdrying. I only used cleanser/step 1 and quit using the toner.

Great product, although can tend to overdry skin.

Pros:

NONE!

Cons:

It dried out my skin, making it flaky near my chin, I had a few legions on the sides of my face from my football helment that were promlomous, but after using this stuff for about two weeks, I broke out all over and have inflamed cysts and scaring.

Dont buy proactive, only thier refining mask. Im going to try the regimin this site has offered soon.

Cons:

Made face so irritated, red and itchy that it was flaking off. It looked like i had exzma on my face.
So sore that i couldn't even show basic emotions because my face was sooooo dry.

I was using the proactiv system twice a day and the exfoliating wash was so irritating that it stripped my skin of everything. It stripped it of its natural oil barrier (acid mantle). Although benzoyl peroxide in the topical cream form i find ok, but with the harsh cleanser and toner aswell, it just reaked havoc with my face. WAY TOO HARSH!!

Pros:

Treats acne to certain extent

Cons:

Can be harsh on skin. Does an OK job of preventing breakouts. Should be less expensive.

Not as effective as claimed. Do your own research -- there are other products (including retin-a, etc.) that are much, much better.

Pros:

Skin very smooth
Cleared and kept acnee away

Cons:

Not a fan of the toner or lotion, or the price

I love love love proactive wash, we have started budgeting so its outta oir price range now and i am really having a hard time finding some thing comparable to it. I dont like having to use toner and the lotion is kind of drying but thewash is amazing

Pros:

will clear up some mild to moderate acne. will leave you with glowing skin if it works for you.

Cons:

Can be expensive in the long run. I ordered the 90 day supply kit. With 2 additional products.

This product did help clear up my acne. It did dry my skin out a bit but nothing that a good moisturizer could not fix. My skin is clear and glowing. This product can be quite expensive in the long run but since it worked for me I will continue to buy it. This product is a 50 50 product either it will work for you or it wont. Their are other products out their with a better percentage rate of working for the general public.

Pros:

CLEANSER IS GOOD,FACIAL MASK IS SUPERB

Cons:

NOT GOOD FOR ACNE

I HAVE USING 1YR BEFORE IT REALLY CLEARS UP MY FACE,NOW I HAVE NO MORE EXISTING PIMPLES.BUT IT DONT WORK AGAINST ACNE

Pros:

Itches
Burns eyes

Proactiv didn't work for me years ago when I tried it but I thought I'd give it a shot when they said they'd improved it. They didn't change the formula at all, they just got more specific with how much you're supposed to use. Even when I used it just once a day, or even every other day, I would have to wash my face and pray to fall asleep before the itching started. It really made me want to claw my face off. The slight results are not worth the itching, dryness and burning that comes with it. For those still looking, I've been using the new clean and clear package you can buy at walmart for about a week with great results and NO itching and burning! Not saying it'll work for everyone but it's working for me.
