Pros:

Gets rid of acne quickly, leaves face feeling clean

Cons:

Stings, leaves skin dry

I tried this about 5 days ago. It worked great! But two days after starting it, I started getting major headaches. Apparently, it was being absorbed into my bloodstream and causing my blood to thicken and all that great stuff. So if you want to take the chance you can, but keep some detox handy just in case.

Pros:

clears up skin well with consistent usage over a few months

Cons:

takes a long time, and if i skip one day i'll break out. expencive

i really like this stuff, but it takes a really long time to work, and if you skip a day or two, you break out. but consistent usage leaves a beautiful face.

Pros:

It has cleared my acne and is'nt as expensive as people say

Cons:

the process to apply takes too long

This is a very good product it does take too long to apply and if you stop using it your acne comes back. But it sates that it is NOT A CURE FOR ACNE so i did expect that.

Pros:

proactive works at first.but if u use it too long, like 2 years, yur skin becomes immune and starts breaking out.it doesnt cure acne but it clears up what u already have.

Cons:

bleaches yur skin.if u stop using it, yur skin will be worse than before u started

i recommend it

Pros:

It cleared up my skin pretty well and the fragrance isn't very strong so it won't irritate the skin very much and it made my skin softer. It doesnt take up much time using Proactiv. When you buy Proactiv, you will LUV the refining mask.

Cons:

Sometime you will get flakiness and dryness on the skin if you don't use the moisturizer

IT WORKS.. and if you use it as directed you will conquer acne

Pros:

Has kept my skin "under control", showing consistency.
Cleanser has a very light scent I like.
I like the balance of the 3 products, the cleanser is a little grainy but the toner and BP settle things down for me.

Cons:

May take a little while to build a tolerance for those who have sensitive skin.
Takes initiative to find an affordable deal.
Living in a dry climate makes it a little more challenging.

I've used the 3 step for years and though it doesn't give me flawless results, it has been the most consistent. I've been back with it for about a year and live in Montana which is quite dry. I wash once a day and that seems to counteract it. OTC stuff seems to not be as powerful, and that includes the all natural stuff. I would give this system a shot if you haven't, and just be patient with it. Be gradual with the usage and see where it goes.

Pros:

None!

Cons:

dryness, increased breakouts, costly, horrible smell

It is definitely not for sensitive skin. It is too harsh. While my acne has never been extreme, I scar very easily from the acne I do get. The only thing it did is make it worse. I used it for three almost four months before I couldn't take it anymore. This is obviously for people with SEVERE acne who must sacrifice moisture for clear -- but dry -- skin.

Pros:

It got my sensitive skin acne free . And my face got alot softer

Cons:

forehead area got very oily and cheeks got very red from dryness.

I like the product and it works but you have to adjust the use to fit ur skin type .

Pros:

#1 If used properly, using all 3 steps once a day, skin will clear up and show a noticable improvement.
#2 Keeps bumps manageable even if user only washes face once everyday using the Renewing Cleanser.
#3 Great packaging and the price is righ

Cons:

#1- In many cases, if the toner is used more than once a day, you may experience burning or drying out of the skin.
#2- You have to use it everyday. Bumps may begin to resurface if you miss 1 day of use.

I have been using Proactiv for approximately 5 years now, and I absolutely don't think that I could feel comfortable without it. Proactiv users have to be patient in the beginning, and find what works for them in reference to the proper application. I notice when I complete all three steps at least once a day, my skin looks clear and free of bumps, with an exception to maybe a few small bumps around my hairline on my forehead where my scalp is generously mosturized. What works for me: #1- Wash face w/Renewing Cleanser #2- Wipe face w/Toner using a clean cottonball (only in areas where bumps are present) #3- Dab an eye cream or face moisturizer on eyelids, under eyes, and the corners of the eye where crows feet can possibly present a problem #4- Rub lotion on face w/ Proactiv lotion (be careful not to get lotion in the eye area) *If my face feels dry after the lotion application, I may add a face moisturizer in the areas that I need it. Example:Extra moisture aro
