Pros:

the moisturizer. (deluxe set)

Cons:

it doesnt work. the toner actually makes me break out more and the repairing lotion makes skin soooo dry.

not worth it at all.

Pros:

It works for me!!! I've been to dermatologists here and there but nothing really worked. With Proactiv, my skin looked way better and I can use it everyday! And I've got lots and lots of compliments now! It works!

Cons:

It's expensive (but I saved more than going to dermatologists).
My mom wakes me in the evening since I sleep early and reminds me to use the product. My sleep's disturbed! hehehehehe... but it's ok! You have to use it religiously!!

I'm a medical student so you could just imagine the stresses in my life!!! One of the stresses is my pimple problem. I used to have very flawless skin but because of stress (and hormones), I started to have pimples. I've tried so many products and have gone to dermatologists. But by using Proactiv, my skin really improved! I wish I'd get my flawless skin back. With Proactiv (and proper management of stress), I'm hopeful I'll be flawless again. To the haters, I think you should read the guide. It states there that acne cannot be cured unless you get to the core of the problem. You have to balance your activities! You have to manage your stress and diet. If you can't manage stress (all types), then no matter what product you use or how religious you use a certain product, you will always get flare-ups!!! TRUST ME!!! And do have patience when you're using a certain anti-acne product! Patience is a virtue!!!

Pros:

it feels really clean

Cons:

It didn't work at all for me and it smells really bad. I used it exactly how it says to, two times a day and for the appropriate amount of time. I'm disappointed.

I think it does work for some people. It's just a hit or miss type thing.

Pros:

Didn't tear up my skin. When it works it works very well but the problem is ....

Cons:

Doesn't work right away. Stops working after a week of it actually working. Process takes awhile.

You should definitely try it if notjing else has worked for you. However, don't be excited if you buy it. It really didn't help me, but,the risk free trial migtht be a good idea. A dermatologist really is better though. They know your skin type and they know what types of medicines have a chance of working on you. I say no.

Pros:

works 4 yo face and has a good smell

it takes time for ur skin to clear out but it works

I HAVE ACNE SINCE I WAS 13 YRS OLD IT WAS REALLY EMBARRASIN. WEN I HEARD BOUT PROACTIV I ORDER IT AT FIRST IT WORK VERY WELL BUT DEN I STARTED TO GET MORE PIMPLES. I TRIED DRINKIN WATER I EVEN GOT PILL TO CLEAR OUT MA SKIN BUT IT DIDNT WORK.I EVEN STOP EATIN FOOD WITH GREASE AND DIDNT WORK EITHER.UNTIL I WENT WITH THIS DOCTOR SHE RECOMMENDED ME SOME HORMONE PILLS. AND IT FINNALY WORKED OUT TURN OUT TO BE THEY WERE MY HORMONES NOW MY SKIN IS CLEARIN OUT BUT IM STILL USIN PROACTIV. SO I WOULD RECOMMEND U PEOPLE 2 TRY SOME HORMONE PILLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

Cleared skin for a while

Cons:

Skin gets addicted

It is not for all skin types. Recomend it for light and moderate acne. Not for very light or severe.

Pros:

Clears skin in less than 2 months.
Has a number of different products that you can try on your skin. One of them is bound to work
Can get rid of scars from severe acne.

Cons:

Dries out skin sometimes.
Can make skin very oily.
Costs are high but it's worth it.

Give it a go. If it doesn't work for you and you can't afford, simply don't buy it, or stop buying it.

Pros:

Makes my face smooth.
After first wk i notice alot of good change.
Bumps are almost gone except a few.
I feel alot better about me.

Cons:

I still have alot of marks on my face but pover time they will go away too as long as this cotinues to work the same.

I really like proactive. I used this proactive 3 yrs ago after I had my son, thats when acne started for me, but I only used it for a month and it worked then to.I just could'ent afford it at the time. I tried mary k sence and a few others but none ever worked like the proactive so I decided to try proactive once again. Once again I got good resaults. I read the doctor suggestion book that came with it and it said "acne is a life time problem for those who get it", so knowing that im gonna continue to use it forever.

Pros:

exfoliated my skin

Cons:

dident stop my breakouts or help my redness. Even tried Extra Strength. After 4 months i returned it and got my refund.

Pros:

It makes your face feel clean, even though once you look in the mirror, it is just as bad as it was before. It doesn't increase amount of acne it just really didn't seem to do much of anything. AKA not much of an initial breakout. It does make your face dry, no oily skin anymore atleast!

Cons:

Makes face visibly more red.
No improvement.
Very dry face.
harsh chemicals, the third step will dye your sheets at night.

I think I may have over used this product, washing your face to much can simply make it worse. I think proactiv is worth a shot honestly. Because for the people it does work for it really fixes their acne for good. But if it doesn't work for you your face probably wont get much worse, just remain how it was. Give it a month or two to see if it really works for you or not. Your body needs to get use to these types of things it's not going to fix it overnight.
