Pros:

Fast results
Not harsh on your skin

Cons:

Doesn't work on oily skin
Stops working after a while

After about a month, my skin didn't improve at all and started going back to the way it was.

Pros:

I don't understand what these other people are complaining about it works great give it some time to work and when using the cleaner don't scrub your face off lightly massage it on and if your skin is oily or combination for gods sake use the daily oil control and oil free moisturizer it helps big time!!!!

Cons:

When buying this system don't think cheapest think what will work right and better for your skin..

Pros:

Your skin always feels nice.

Cons:

Doesn't clear you up completely.HORRIBLE customer service!

After my experience I would never recommend Proactiv to anyone. You better off going to the dermatologist.

Pros:

made my skin feel clean
helped my acne a little

expensive
strains your skin of the "good" oils you may need later in life!

honestly.... i havent really seen much of a difference in my skin after using proactiv.... i have been using it for 4 months now and it is part of my everyday routine. i have to admit my acne was not "severe" to start with and is very sparce now with only a pimple or two, or more when im on my period. it does NOT dry out my skin. It did a little the first month i used it, but you have to give it some time and be patient. Your acne will not clear up overnight! I think the people who say it dries out their skin must not be moisturising! i use neutragena sensitive skin oil-free moisturizer and i LOVE it!!! it works sooo much better than the green tea moisturizer it gives you! so i do think it works well, but i am undecided about the price.. it is pretty expensive but i havent actually paid much attention to it! haha but the one thing i have found about it is it strips your skin of ALL oil on your face and may make you age faster, but i do not know much on this but my friend who is in beauty school said it was bad for you but im not sure! i hope this helps and isnt too confusing! ahahha good luck!!

worst cleanser EVER made!!!!! i mean, yea it takes away pimples and blackheads for the first week, but after you stop using it just for one day, it makes the acne worse!!!! and Too expencive for a bottle of nothing that helps NO ONE!

I absolutely despise this product, it never actually worked and NEVER will! and also WARNING THAT AFTER YOU PAY FOR PROACTIV, THEY KEEP ON SENDING YOU MONTHLY PRODUCTS AND AUTOMATICLY CHARGING YOU FOR IT!!! this product doesnt just basicly do nothing....... it irritates skin and leaves it dry and guess what?! you see all of those adds on tv and they pay millions of dollars to sell a product to teens like you that doesnt even work! shame on anyone who looks at this and doesn't listen to a word im typing, and shame to those who use proactiv! Thank you very much.....

Pros:

-made my skin none oily since I do usually have very oily skin
-started to see improvement after a month of using it religiously

Cons:

-dried out my skin for a little while,then had to cut back on using it to only nighttime
-made more acne

after using proactiv for 2 months now,my skin is dramatically different,it's hydrated and my acne is almost completely gone.if you use this product twice a day everyday for about a month to a month and a half you will see improvement.dont give up,because I did and people said this wouldn't work so I didn't use it,but then I gave it a try and it's working.there's a warranty on it so if it doesn't work after 2 months,just send it back,plain and simple.

Pros:

Reduces acne

Cons:

Auto enrollment in Proactiv program. (I would prefer to just buy it when I like instead of being enrolled and being charged every month).
Has to be shipped to you/ costs extra for shipping.
No cons about the product itself.
Price.

Proactiv is a good product. It has helped reduce my acne, but I can't say that it diminishes it completely for me, but it definitely helps, and when I do not use it, my face breaks out like crazy, so I know it is doing it's job at preventing acne. It's the only product that has worked this well on my skin so far.

Pros:

Dried up my pimples
Cleared my pimples up

Cons:

Dried my face
Made my face red and inflamed
Made my skin tone rough and uneven

You've seen the reviews on tv about how good this product is. Maybe it is a good product and my skin might just be too sensitive for it. Yes it dried up my pimples but it dried it up so much my face got even oilier to replenish itself. For people will sensitive skin, I do not recommend it.

Pros:

-Makes my skin glow.
-All the steps have an important use.
-Actually works.

Cons:

-If you skip a day of the routine, you breakout.
-Can make you're skin really dry.
-Have to use a different moistener because it makes my face dry.

I have combination skin and a light/medium skin tone. I don't use foundation or cover up, just mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. I wash my face every night using the 3-step process. I started using proactiv when i was 13 and i'm almost 15. It works perfectly, you just have to stick to a routine while using it. For me if i use it more than once a day it makes my face unbearably dry. If so i use a clique lotion on my face and they work perfectly together. I love proactiv and couldn't live without it :)

Pros:

I first tried the original proactiv a couple years back and it irritated and burned my skin to the point my whole face was red. My skin recently started to become very oily and the new proactiv helps on that. The New Proactiv (which is said to work gentler) isn't irritating my skin. It really clears up acne and works very fast, probably like 2 weeks it cleared me up. It is a very good product, and if you have dry, sensative skin, proactiv still might not work for you (even the new one) because benzoyal peroxide is one of the main ingredients in it, and can still burn your skin, or dry it out. But this product has worked for me very well, and is more gentler on my skin, so yes, proactiv does work, but it depends on what your skin is like.
