Pros:

the only good thing that helped me in the least was the repairing lotion.

Cons:

smelled horrible, cost too friggin much, bottles were too small, customer service sucked, made me break out worse, the hidden club membership pissed my mom off, overall this was the worst mistake of my life.

if you have a little bit of acne, DO NOT buy proactiv. i had very very light acne. maybe 4 or 5 bumps on my cheeks. i asked my mom to buy me this stuff that i thought would be a miricle, and it turns out, a week later i started seeing little bumps form all over my cheeks. now my skin is in the worst condition it has EVER been in. DO NOT get sucked into their stupid commercial like i did. stick with OTC products from walmart or a drug store or w/e. now im trying to get back to the condition i was in before proactiv. im probly gonna try benzaclin. NOT RECCOMENDED BY ME.

Pros:

Works at first.

Cons:

Price, didn't work, drying.

I tried Proactive TWICE. The first time it clear my skin up in a few days, but by two weeks in my skin was just as bad as ever and it never cleared up again. And it can dry your skin out. This product WON'T work for everyone no matter what the commercials say. If you have already tried BP or SA, there's really no reason to try this product, since those are the active ingredients.

Cons:

Made my skin worse!!

I tried it thinking my skin was going to clear up for sure with this product...not the case it actually made it worse!! This product obviously doesn't work for everyone.....go figure!!!

Pros:

None

Cons:

It didn't work at all for me. I have oily skin so it wouldn't get terribly dried out but it didn't help whatsoever and made my face worse.

Once i stopped using it, my face cleared up slightly back to how it was previous to using proactiv. maybe for some lucky people it worked, but for most, it won't help.

Pros:

Well.... I guess Proactiv is effective in washing your face....

Cons:

Dries out skin.
Toner and refining mask can StInG (especially if you have sensitive skin).
They all Smell gross! Cleanser, Toner, Refining Mask and Moisturising Lotion. Quite a pricey product. Dissapointment when Proactive doesn't work for you.

Great for all those people it works for.... Not so great for those people it doesn't work for! My advice: Try this product if you feel you have to, it may just work for your skin type, but be aware that it isn't a miracle cure for ALL! If stinging or irritation occurs (like it did for me) don't keep using Proactive through the pain just to get that miracle blemish-free look. Basically, if it's not working give it up!

Pros:

For me, proactiv was really good

price, amount

Pros:

It cleared my skin up really well, however...

Cons:

It does extreme damage to your skin in the long run.

I talked to several skin care specialists, and they all told me how deeply dehydrated my skin was and asked what I used. I told them Proactiv and most of them said the exact same thing -- It causes early aging!! Yes, I did moisturize every night and day and through the day but my skin STILL flaked and cracked. I'm currently on the pill, and it seems to be doing good. I no longer use Proactiv's toner or cleanser, however, once a night I will still use the repairing lotion because I really don't want to risk what would happen if I came off BP completely. Proactiv does what it says, clears up your skin. But sadly, also causes early aging. So I guess it's up to whatever is more important to you.

Pros:

Soothes the skin and makes it feel clean.

Cons:

Very expensive and after a months use I have seen no results.

Been using for 4 weeks and have seen no results. My skin looks worse. I will keen using it hoping at the 6-8 week mark it will start working like everyone is saying.
