Pros:

I saw results almost right away - within the first week, most of my face had cleared up with the exception of a few pimples.

Cons:

Makes your skin REALLY dry. My face, especially around the chin and mouth, started flaking and it looks kind of gross.

Proactive is good for getting rid of pimples - but if you already have dry skin, like I do, it's tough to deal with the flaky skin. I'm going to try and use some oil-free moisterizer, but if it doesn't work, I'll come to the conclusion that proactive is only for people with oily skin.

Pros:

quite affordable the kit last me 3-4 months

Cons:

doesnt work for me, i been on it for over a year

i used it at the begining and notice a bit improvement but after a month i just get regual pimples and zips i call proactuve up and they told me to stay on it for 3-4 months and i did but still didnt work and i call them up again and the change my proatcive to proactive plus which is stronger for the same price and i stay on it for 5 months untill i finaly just gave up cuz it want working now i'm acnezine and havent notice a different after a month

Pros:

skin feels calm

Cons:

wont help you completely

although it did not treat my acne completely. But somehow it controls the acne from spreading. For me once my acne is under control. Its good. works for some people. You can try , it helped me..

Pros:

It can reduce the appearance of pores.

Cons:

It can really dry up your skin.I also became darker when I was using proactiv, eventhough I use sunblock when I'm outdoors.

No to sensitive skin. Recommended only if you're not sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Does not work for everybody. Not to me.

Pros:

Since I was a young girl I have had terrible redness and small persistent pimples that would never go away. I have used proactiv for one month and they are gone! My skin feels so much smoother and I am no longer embarrassed about blemishes :)

Cons:

My face went very dry, but I carried a moisturizer around with me and it went away within days! It is a little pricey for a student but I was spending nearly as much every month trying different products that weren't working.

I'm very satisfied with this product. I have more confidence because I no longer have to think about whether or not I have a pimple because I don't! My skin feels great and the tone has evened out, it even helped with my rosacea! Be sure to use it consistently and read the labels and be sure that you know what you are doing, twice a day everyday and it will work :)

Pros:

Cons:

i used proactive for 5 months. I saw results within two months but after another few weeks, my skin got worse. for me, the worst thing about it was that it made my skin look extremely greasy and shiny.

it looks good in the box and has neat packaging

Pros:

It Cleard up my skin fast!

Cons:

It bleach's towels! And can be drying. i dont use the moisturizer i use my own.

I have been using proactive for about 5months! and im very happy with it.im also on a low antibiotic called doxycycline. Which has also helped! The only thing im unsure on is can you use proactive for years.? or is it jst for until your skin clears up? It has worked for me! my skin is clear!

Pros:

It makes me feel clean and it keeps me from breakouts and cists

Cons:

the old proactive was fine, but the new extra strength REALLY dries out my skin and it burns my eyes!

i think they should go back to using the regular proactive. i liked that stuff a lot more

Pros:

Keeps acne from getting worse.

Cons:

doesnt work if you have mild to severe acne!! and if you dont use it for one day you have a severe breakout

This product is for people for have light to mild acne. I used to use this product 2 times a day, 7 days a week last year and my acne was light-mild. Then I didnt use it for a week and my acne got bad. it has stayed bad for about 3 months and is not getting better and i quit using proactiv last week to move on to something more effective.

WELL IT SMELLS ALRIGHT. AFTER THE FIRST STEP YOUR FACE FEELS REALLY FRESH N CLEAN.

Cons:

YOU HAVE TO USE A LOT OF MOISTURIZER BECAUSE PROACTIVE DRIES OUT YOUR SKIN. PLUS REDNESS OCCURS, WHICH REALLY SUCKS.

THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE. MY FACE RIGHT NOW IS AT ITS WORST, THANKS TO PROACTIVE. FOR SOME PEOPLE IT WORKS BUT IT IS NOT A PRODUCT FOR ME. I HAD CLEAR SKIN WITH MINOR BLEMISHES. NOW I HAVE TO WEAR MAKE UP TO COVER UP THE UGLY PIMPLES. I USE TO ONLY WEAR POWDER, NOW I HAVE TO APPLY FOUNDATION TOO!
