Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Terrible customer service and product isn't great

Don't buy the product. Its a joke.. Canceling is difficult 4-6wks for a refund and customer service is horrible. When you ask to speak to a supervisor they tell you one is not available and someone will contact me within 24hrs.

Pros:

Notice a difference within 90 days
Removed my blackheads

Cons:

Gave my cheeks red acne scars and occasionally made my skin VERY dry

Proactiv cleared up my T-zone and got rid of my blackheads. I used it every morning and night. For about the first week, my face was tingly and red and my skin got very dry. My face got used to it though. However, my cheeks started breaking out. The acne was VERY red. I went to the dermatologist and he said it caused acne scars on my cheeks. He have me Acuwash to use. That cleared up my cheeks but it wasn't strong enough for my forehead and now my blackheads have returned. I have switched back to Proactiv on my forehead and it's already clearing up. Long story short- DON'T USE PROACTIV ON SENSITIVE SPOTS. And if you start getting scars visit a dermatologist!

Pros:

Mostly clears up skin
Convenient

Cons:

Stains clothes and sheets
Expensive

I've used Proactiv on and off for 15 years.. I've tried all kinds of stuff but always return to this product. I don't know if it means it's working, or if when you stop using it you break out regardless of what you try? Can't figure it out. But, I feel stuck using it if I want my skin to behave. I've been able to cancel several times, and I changed my billing to where they have to bill me instead of automatically charging my card, just remove your card number online. A kid lasts me a good 3-4 months.

Pros:

Very slightly cleared up acne as long as it was used exactly by the directions every day.

Cons:

1) A couple of days after I stopped using it my face broke out twice s badly.
2) Smells horrible.
3) discolors towels when you wipe your face or hands off after washing them.
4) misleading advertisement- once you buy it they commit you to $30 a month

Worst acne product I've ever used. I'd rather stick to clean and clear where it always works, smells great and costs a tenth of the cost without them conning you into a monthly agreement with very small fine print advising you so.

Pros:

I wouldn't know, I couldn't get past their deceptive billing.

Cons:

They automatically send/bill you for a 90-day supply, even if you change your shipment frequency online to be much longer than 90 days. I returned the unwanted 90-day supply, and and they are still charging me monthly payments for it.

Don't sign up for this product if you are on a budget. Its extremely expensive to begin with, and they will send it to you and bill you for it even if you tell them not to. BEWARE!

Pros:

Free exfoliating face brush
Didn't irritate my skin

Cons:

Didn't do anything for me & actually made my t-zone oilier & exacerbated the problem!

I have combination skin & never really had pimple problems until after having a child. I started to get random huge, red, painful pimples that I call "volcano zits" so I tried proactive thinking it would make my skin smoother & my t-zone less oily but all it did was make it alot oiler & increased the amount of pimples! Now instead of 1 or big zits, my forhead is covered with small grainy red bumps & increased shine that no powder or blotting paper can get rid of. I should have checked out thess un-biased website reviews 1st because I was suckered into the the whole, "well it's good enough for celebrities so it must work" schpiel. Celebs have a whole team of people & lots of money to help stay looking great all the time & they love to appear in ads & of course the $$$ that they get paid for doing so... so do not be fooled! This stuff may be a "miracle product" for a select few but obviously most of us un-paid non-actors have found out differently. I don't recommend Proactive unless you want to make your skin problems WORSE!

Pros:

helps with blackheads

Cons:

Drys out your skin

I wanted to write a post because I had tried everything in the past. About 9-8 months ago I started breaking out so bad all over my face. I tried proactive, RX washes, RX pills etc. Turns out... It was my birthcontrol. I was taking loestrin 24 which caused my face to break out with acne all over. I finally figured it out and switch my pill and my acne is gone. So ladies if you are on the pill you might want to look into chaning it!

Pros:

none

Cons:

everything

I had severe deep ance on both my cheeks and desperately wanted all the little stuff to go away hoping that after all the little stuff cleared up i could then focus on the big stuff. After five months i saw little change in my acne. i still got those little annoying break outs regularly and god forbid i missed a day because my face would freak out. i started to realize that this stuff wasn't HEALING my acne it was just holding it in. My pores actually were getting bigger. so i stopped and went to a dermatologist. To sum it up, if you have tried every face wash, cream, zit zapper, mask, bar, scrub like i have and they didn't work, proactive WILL not work for you either. none of these things have enough benzol peroxide in them. You need a face wash with 10% benzol peroxide in it i would highly recommend Panoxyl, it cleared my skin instantly.

Pros:

Cleared my skin perfectly.

Cons:

Bottles are small. Have to upgrade to the bigger bottles, the small go quick

Ive tried everything, proactiv is the only thing that's has ever worked for me. After a awhile skin will get a little dry. Use their moisturizer, it's great. Then if you over due it and your skin gets oily, use the oil control. I love it, I stopped for awhile and my acne came back. Now I use it once a day, and the extras and I'm back to clear skin. Really does work
