Pros:

Clears up your skin within a day or two, incombination with the refinning mask My skins was completely cleared in a week.

Cons:

Dries my skin out I can only use it for like 2 weeks at a time. Smells sulfer like.

It's good for most types of acne. I feel it really worked for me. However I've read many people say it doesn't work for them. I find that when I switch back and forth it works better for me.

Pros:

Jassica simpson endorsement on product. second is very pricey

I m 100% satisfy with proactive. Key point is wait and see. ( believe me , acne completes its cycle once its on ur skin , it doesn't require any treatment)

Pros:

I HATE IT!

Cons:

it made my skin really dry, and it made me break out on my cheecks!it seems like it might work at first but then it doesn't! i had to only use it once a day because it was making my skin so dry! it peeled and looked worse!

IF YOU BUY IT, DON'T EXPECT IT TO WORK! IT ONLY WORKS ON SOME PEOPLE I THINK! JUST KNOW IT DOESN'T WORK FOR EVERYBODY!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Extremely expensive. Provides false hope. MAKES ACNE WORSE!

The product does not work...period. I've been on Dan's "Regimen" for a little over a week and I've now been contacted about a modeling job. I'm not saying that the "Regimen" will turn you into a model, but I am saying that I did not have a model's skin until I began the "Regimen." Basically what I'm trying to say is that Proactiv really is an ineffective method of treating acne. And WAY too expensive considering Dan's method is less than half the price!

Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Everything.

I used Proactiv when I was 6th grade, it stopped my break out, but after that, I switched to Neutrogena and stick with it for 3 years until I took Dance class and work out everyday. I got break out so I decided to use Proactiv again, well it made it worse. After a month of using it, my face didn't get any better, so I went to see a dermatologist. He put me on prescribed medicine, and I gets microdermbrasion due to scarring. What he said seriously upsetting me, because he asked me if I used Proactiv. He then explained that Proactiv made my skin worse because what it does is that it cleanse only the surface, which make your skin looks like its getting better, when really all those bacteria are still trapped underneath. So yeah, my face is seriously damaged, but it's improving. I suggest that those who are dealing with servere acne should go see a dermatologist. DON'T USE PROACTIV.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Many.

The active ingredient in both the cleanser and repairing lotion is Benzoyl Peroxide. The alcohol-free cleanser is basically non-alcoholic facial astringent. Both of these products can be found at any pharmacy, for a fraction of the cost. Using too much of anything will just build your body's immunity to it. Also, Proactiv makes it less than simple to cancel an account, and did a good job of sending me a second package before I realized I had signed up for an automated renewal system.

Pros:

Does not dry skin like other products

Cons:

Too many steps and time-consuming, some pimples gone but new ones appeared where there were no pimples before, big pimples deep under skin, too expensive, Repairing Lotion runs out before cleanser and toner, and toner runs out before 3 weeks.

Is not as effective as you think it is. I suppose it depends on your skin type.
