Pros:

Made skin soft, slightly controlled outbreaks

Cons:

Irritated skin, made it very dry (sometimes red), occasionally made outbreaks worse.

I used the system (I also used the face mask once or twice a week) and it was too much for my face. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I would recommend that if other people have really sensitive skin, they avoid this or use great care to avoid irritating their face. It would give me a red "flush" and would often make outbreaks worse. Only sometimes would it actually help. Probably the only real pro about it was that right after washing it would make my skin baby soft (that was cool at least). Since then I am trying other things in hope of making my face clear. From other people I have heard and seen mostly positive things out of using this product, however, so I can't say that the majority of people would encounter problems like mine.

Pros:

Clean scent, strong medication, great for blackheads.

Cons:

Irritates skin, way overpriced.

I used to have awful acne. When it first started getting bad, I tried proactive, and it made it worse. I stopped using it after I ran out, and then tried various other remedies. I tried proactive a second time a few years later, when my skin calmed down a tiny bit. My skin seemed to clear up a little bit, but then it returned to its previous condition. The third time I used proactive, my acne had turned from severe to moderate. I figured I could give it another chance. I won't be giving it anymore chances. Not only does it not clear up my acne, it burns like nothing I've ever felt before. My skin is tight, and it itches a lot. I find that after I apply the toner, my face burns and hurts. When I add the "repairing lotion", my skin stings. In my opinion, Proactive is not all it's cracked up to be. It is overpriced, irritates the skin, and just doesn't work. I will say that it works wonderfully on blackheads- haven't seen those buggers around lately. Bottom line: not worth i

Pros:

One of the best products I've found

Cons:

Still wasn't the acne "cure" I was looking for.
Bleaches EVERYTHING...towels, pillowcases, the collars of my shirts...

There are a couple other products that work just as well but are cheaper and don't bleach everything you own.

Pros:

Works really well if consistent

Cons:

very expensive and a moisturizer is need for this produce otherwise your face will be extremely dry.

If you use it properly and consistently twice a day...it will work. However of course like many other products, it doesn't work for everyone especially for those who maybe allergic to the product. I think it depends on the person so you really can't rely on everyone's judgment on this product.....unless evvvverrrryyyoneee says the same thing.

Pros:

When using Proactiv I see results within one week.I have tried many 3 system facial care products but the don't compare, they may keep the pimples at bay most of the time but they usually don't remove the marks.

Cons:

The price should be reduced by now and the #2 Cleanser is not enough, it always go way before the other items.Just like most topicals you MUST remain on it for it to keeping working, the week that you run out the acne re-appears.

It works very well but it is too expensive for consistance use.

Pros:

removes oil, clears face within 2-3 weeks significantly, makes your face feel clean.

Cons:

can make face a bit dry for sure, doesnt get rid of the boils (the bigger pimples beneath the skin which are often painful and hard to pop).

very effective, its not a cure but it help eliminate most of ance within a reasonable amount of time. You will like the way your face looks after this (if not, then u need something really strong).

Pros:

It only works good if you use it 2 times a day everyday, or else you break out like crazy.

Cons:

-I have super oily skin. I think proactiv made it even more oily.
-does NOT get rid of blackheads
-does NOT get rid of whiteheads
-gets rid of pimples very slowly
-TOO MUCH MONEY! Yah the trial size is cheap, but not the actual sized bott

NO ACTUAL IMPROVEMENT. & I'VE BEEN USING PROACTIV FOR ABOUT 2 1/2 YEARS NOW. IF YOUR PLANNING ON GETTING A GOOD ACNE TREATMENT, DON'T BUY THIS!! If I treat one pimple, that'll go away in like a week, but then I'll just get another new one the next day. It works okay. I get pimples everywhere- all over my face, my chest, shoulders, and arms.

Pros:

Results fairly quickly, easy to use.

Cons:

Quits working after a while, expensive, made my skin tomato red.

Was worth a try but for me the nice results were temporary. Their customer service department gave me some story that you have to take a break from it occassionally because your skin gets used to it and it quits working(?) - whatever! I used it on and off for years but my skin was never 100% clear. I'm still looking for the holy grail and I just ordered Dan's AHA+. PA Solution is very, very pricey so I always bought it on Ebay. I finally quit using it because I was tired of the expense and it made my skin tomato red after a while so my makeup always looked strange.

Pros:

I have been using Proactiv for 5 years now.And my face has cleared up alot.No pimples at all, Where ever I go someone is telling me that I have beautiful skin. It truely works You just have to continue to use it every day.

Cons:

When you stop using it for a month or two, yes your face will break out. But I have learned to elimated the last step (the lotion) your face will not break out at all.

True enough your face will break out. the reason is that it is getting all the pores and dead cells out of your skin and of course your face has to get worse before it gets better. And know you can go to the mail to one of those Kiosk and get it individual that's another plus. And the mask is awesome!
