Pros:

Clears most of redness

Cons:

Your skind could become adapted to it, Dries up skin, Could make you break out even more, the mask odor is...eww and it's EXPENSIVE

It does work at first, but once your skin gets used to it you are history! If you stop using it, you will breakout...BP bleaches shirts, towels and even your eyebrows, that's how strong is...

Pros:

Works at first, clears pimples fast

Cons:

Dries skin horribly, extremely dry skin creates breakouts, extremely overpriced, stops working over time.

At first couple of uses, proactiv works, however, as time goes by, it starts to fade and your skin gets worse and worse and worse. The cleanser and refining mask dry out your skin like crazy due to heavy amounts of sulfur and peroxide. Dry skin creates more and more breakouts while current breakouts heal very slowly. The refining mask that you put on trouble spots clears acne but leaves horrible brown spots and hyper-pigmentation. people with extremely oily skin, this is for you. but if you dont have oil dripping off of your skin, dont use this.

Pros:

It really works! And, it makes my face feel smooth and clean after I use it, the refining mask is absolutely amazing,

Cons:

It's expensive and it takes several months before you really start seeing results (the acne already there takes awhile to go away), sometimes parts of my face start to sting/burn for about 15 to 30 seconds after using the toner

Proactiv DOES work, but you have to be patient! It is not going to get rid of your acne over night. It took at least three months before I really started seeing results. And another three months before I felt comfortable enough to go out without make- up (something I haven't been able to do in years). My acne has been gone for a couple of months now, but I still use proactiv because it does such a good job of preventing acne from returning. Though, I still do get the occasional pimple, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. Only a couple have actually broken the surface so that I can see as well as feel them, but they're gone within a couple of days (and as noticeable as they used to be). Also, you MUST wash your hands after using it, otherwise it will bleach your towels and clothes. That is what I do and that is the reason why I have never had the problem of bleached towels and/or clothing. Though, it does bleach hair and eyebrows, but it's really not that noticeable.

Pros:

leave your skin soft and refreshed. helps clear black heade and small pimple fast. dries out oily spots

Cons:

doesnt work good on moderater to severe acne.
not very affordable especially for the results

it will clear out your pores from any polution but will leave reds spots. it also dries out pimple but leaves like scabs where they once where. it's ok but dries you face out and can make it very sensitve. i would recomend it to you dont use it if you have allot of acne though.

Pros:

Definitely cleared up a few spots, leaves your face feeling clean

Cons:

Is not meant for people with moderate to severe acne
Dried up my skin - a moisturizer is needed
Bleaches washcloths, towels

I'm sure it works well for people with light/minor acne problems. The sulfur mask seemed to work really well for me, but other than that, I was not successful with Proactiv.

Pros:

It really works for me like how it said on the commericals. it improved my overall look. it even removed redness, scars left from a long time ago.

Cons:

a little too expensive. and hard to buy not many places sell them so its best to buy online

it works best on preventing acne/breakouts. but once they are out it doesnt help too much. but if you use it everyday you rarely get breakouts.

Pros:

Cleared about 2/60 of my pimples in the first month

Cons:

dried the heck outta my skin, didnt do squat overall

I would probably reccomend proactive for people with mild-moderate acne..mostly mild because it doesnt really do much.

Pros:

clear and soft skin, no more acne

Cons:

don't use all 3 products on sensitive skin

I first used all 3 products to rid the acne (but it's too strong for sensitive skin). Now I just use the Repairing Lotion every day and underneath my makeup -- it works like a miracle! 4+ years now :)

Pros:

Absolutely none!!! So, I'll start my 'Con' list here. SUCH a rip off!!! I saw the ads on TV with "Now made in Australia", so why is it $80?!!!! And if I'm buying it at the kiosk, why am I still charged $9.95 P&H?!!! It shouldn't be any more than $50.

Cons:

I saw on the US site that a 2 month supply was only $39.95. I also HATE the rotten-egg smell of the mask! Peewww!!! You canNOT get that smell off!!! If your acne really IS that bad, do NOT use Proactive. Why am I expected to join a 'club'???

I'm 29 years old and I've had acne for TWENTY YEARS, so, believe me, I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! It just pains me to see young people forking out so much money for this. I also do NOT appreciate celebrities like Jessica Simpson saying "I had the WORST ACNE EVER", when all she had were some bumps on her chin - try having pus-filled CYSTIC ACNE on your chest AND back, Jessica!!! I don't have anything against her, but I could not listen to a statement made like that and NOT get angry!!! I was on Roaccutane TWICE, so I don't know why I ever thought that just a bunch of lotions would ever do anything, but as with EVERYONE who has ever suffered from acne - you get sucked in. Please everyone - go to your doctor and get an oral medication. I AM very happy for anyone who has used Proactive and got clear skin - after all the emotional rollercoaster you had to go through because of acne, you really deserve to feel good about yourself and your life. But for everyone else - PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!
