Pros:

Works pretty well. Ordering is easy. Cancellation easy. Money back guarantee. No side effects. Easy to use.

Cons:

None.

Im 30 years old and have had acne since about age 11. It was managable until aboutage 26 when it became quite persistant and severe. I decided to give proactiv a try 2 years ago. I HATED it. My face dried out so much that it was scaly and red. I cried and cried. I was using extra oil free moisturizer and tea tree oil. Well, that was the problem. I went to using it every other day with neutrogena moiturizer. My face calmed down and i noticed my acne clearing. After a month i went to every day. I quit using it because my face cleared. Silly me. I went back on it about a year ago and have found its the only thing to really help me. Granted my face isnt completely clear. I dont use it twice daily though. I think i'll start with twice daily. Overall i love it. I went from a face covered with acne, to a few pimples on my jawline. For those suffering from drying effects, i suggest easing into and using a seperate moiturizer with the 3 steps.

Pros:

Clearer and softer skin
Cleared skin in 2 weeks
Variety of products

Cons:

Repeating steps twice a day
Expensive
Subscription is necessary
Website - hard to handle

Overall I'm very satisfied with the product, although I wish they had bigger sizes so I wouldn't have to order every 2 months. However, it's just a bit too expensive and I don't like accessing their website. I feel there is too many obstacles to go around before you actually find what you want. I don't like that you have to be a member to get a "discount."

Pros:

Worked at first

Cons:

Smelled bad, Dried out my face, stopped working after a few months

I have moderate acne and I used proactiv for about 6 months a couple of years ago when it first became popular. It worked for a few months but then it stopped working. I think my acne got much worse after I used proactiv then before I started, but I guess that could be because I was still a teenager. Almost everyone I talk to who used proactiv before says the same thing happened to them.

Pros:

I can't think of any.

Cons:

-Did not prevent Breakouts or help heal them.
-Proactive only works on 1 or 2 skin types, not good for everyone...only a minority.
-Causes excessive drying

I wish people would read reviews before trying out Proactiv because all those flashy TV Commercials and radio ad's are a lie. Proactive severely dried out my skin and after using for about 2 years I never had clear skin. I used the whole 3 step system along with a few add-on parts. I have started a new treatment that aims to heal the scarring that the acne caused. My friend who works at a skin care spot in the mall says they spend more time with people who's acne was made worse from Proactive then any other product.

Pros:

It kept the small acne away

Cons:

Causes cystic acne for me
Made my skin extremely oily
Makes my skin sensitive to the sun

One day I was jogging early in the morning, and when I came back my face was ANGRY RED! The BP caused my skin to be very sensitive with UV rays and it just basically cooked my skin. It was a very terrible experience. Those who have sensitive skin beware

Pros:

Easy Routine To Follow
Non-Chemical Smell
Offers Some Exfoliation
Great/Gentle Toner

Cons:

Not effective for severe acne
Does not help fade post-acne marks
"Cult-like" Marketing
Expensive

Basically-this product is no better than what you can now find in Wal-greens/Wal-Mart (pretty much any department store these days) for mild acne. It's gentle, and would probably work for a person with sensitive skin who has very mild acne/blemishes.

Pros:

None that I found.

Cons:

Broke my skin
Made it much worse
Left me with scars

I bought this on ebay, to avoid getting charged on my bank account as others have reported. I thought since I had light/mild acne this would do just fine. Boy was I wrong. First of all it really hurt my skin. I broke out way worse than I ever have! I'm still dealing with the scars caused by this. Thinking it was just the IB (Inital Breakout|) I carried on until I had used up all the bottles. My skin was in a much worse state than it was to begin with so I haven't bothered to purchase again. It was red, covered with zits and just looked..raw. I switched to a more gentle cleanser and my skin is getting better everyday. Please, please, don't get taken in by the adverts! It's just not worth the risk!

Pros:

. It clears up red spots

Cons:

. It works slowly and it gave me ALOT more acne

Ive tried it out for a week. It might not have been that long but proactiv claims it works fast, however, I saw no positives changes. All I saw was more bad acne than before I used it. Step 3 is really oilly and probably made it worse. thanks alot proactiv.....:/

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

it dried my skin out. I use to squeeze a little bit of the cleanser into my hands and then wash my face. The palms of my hands started breaking out in little bumps and itching like mad.

This is a horrible bleached product. It has even bleached my towels and face cloth and any clothes that get splashed on. DON"T USE THIS. There's better products out there than this rubbish celebrity endorsed bleach.
