Pros:

none.

Cons:

It is too abrasive on delicate acne skin, creates tiny scratches on the skins surface. Everyone have bacteria on their skin and this is just a way to let it in!

Please don't use this, It ruined my face!!

Pros:

Works well, I used it for like 2 weeks and my skin feels softer, at first it was dried out.

Cons:

Make sure you use it 2x a day otherwise it won't work well, your pores will be really defined.

Like they say, patience is the key. You just have to give it time to wash out all the ickyness in your skin. they say pimples form 2-3 weeks in advance before they appear, so give it that to get rid of them all!

Pros:

Proactiv is an extremely user friendly product. I love the 3-step system. It makes my skin feel fresh and clean, morning and night. It starts working almost immediately, which definitley works for me!

Cons:

No real cons for Proactiv. I noticed that the toner has a bit of a funny smell, but that's about it. It might dry out your face for the first week or so, but it eventually goes away.

After using the Proactiv system for about a month, I started noticing my moderate acne was clearing and it stayed clear! I'm like thousands who've tried countless acne products in search of a solution and Proactiv was the answer for me. If you are one of those people who like to pick at your acne... after Proactiv clears your acne, you will notice your not picking so much anymore, which in turn, will reduce scars. I love this product and everything about it. Unless for some reason Proactiv stops working on my face, then I will not buy anything else for my acne. The price is a bit expensive, but it's definitley worth it if you struggle with acne problems!

Pros:

It makes your skin look and feel really nice even if you don't have acne.

Cons:

Anybody that paid more than forty-bucks for this stuff is a moron.

I work for Guthy-Renker. I can tell you right now that it has approximately a 97% success rate. So if it doesn't work you're not using it right. I don't really have, nor have I ever really had what you would call "acne" on rare occasions one or two small pimples will show up after I shave. Ya' know those little ones that you just squeeze out a little white stuff and wipe it off and it's gone? Anyways, I used Proactiv just to be able to say that 'I'd tried it.' I gotta' tell you though. It made my skin look awesome. I just started it in the shower and did the toner after. Then I let it dry while I got dressed and brushed my teeth. Then I did the lotion and left. Holy Cow! My skin looked awesome man. So I got other people using it and their's looked good too. So anyways I think it works. Especially since seeing some of the people that work here who've used it. I don't use this product anymore personally, but I see people that do everyday and I think it

Pros:

Cleared my acne problem for awhile, after using for about 6-8 months, I began to have more breakouts. Cleans well.

Cons:

Very expensive. Bottles are small, when used twice daily, product does not last long. Irritates skin when begin using. Horrible customer service dept., frequently get orders and payments wrong, and takes FOREVER to correct probelms.

Not worth the money you have to pay. There are other products available over the counter with similar ingredients that cost much less. Not worth the hassle.

Pros:

cleans well

Cons:

irritates, inflames, causes hyperpigmentation, doesnt remove oil well, expensive, doesnt clear up acne or clear up pores

I have used the whole Proactiv system for the year of 2005 and I have to say it is a horrible system! Its main approach to battling acne is over-drying and blackening the skin. Its ingredients cause wrinkles, and increase sun damage (photosensitivity) and it so expensive it RAPES YOUR WALLET! 1) The cleanser 0/5 - very harsh, gritty and doesn't remove sunscreen/moisturizer very well. Leaves skin feeling "unclean" meaning it still feels oily. It cant be used over eyes or your EYES WILL BURN! It darkens acne marks and leaves skin red and inflammed. 2) The toner 1/5 - contains glycolic acid which sweeps away dead dry skin cells and also doesnt have alcohol. HOWEVER, it does nothing to clean up pores (lack of BHA perhaps) and it leaves skin sticky and feeling tight. 3) The Repairing Lotion 1/5 - Causes wrinkles (BP is very drying), darkens skin tone by increasing sun sensitivity and causing post inflammatory pigmentation! Makes skin rough, looking aged and doesnt clea

Pros:

It will clear up your skin, but you have to wait about 4 months.

Cons:

Expensive and you really have to stick to the regiment.

I have tried everything, and was very dissapointed. This really is the only thing that works. But you have to remember to scrub your face for 2 minutes morning and night, wait for your toner to dry before applying the lotion, and also use the refining mask 3-4 times a week. Also I would reccomend Daily Oil Control if your face is oily!! It can be tough to stick to, but it's even worse being embarassed to show your face ! Remember to wait at least 4 months!
