Pros:

It worked for me, cleared my skin in about 2 months (nothing I tried before worked..). My acne came back though about 3 mo after I stopped using it. Now i'm back on it!

Cons:

I don't have sensitive skin, and I can still feel that it is a little hard on skin. Be careful using it on the face. It's ok on the back. A little on the expensive side.

Doesn't work for everybody, but try it if you don't have sensitive skin.

Pros:

It cleared up my blemishes fast, but it stopped working.

Cons:

Using it for so long, it got really expensive.

I was using Proactive for almsot a year, and it was doing okay. Nothing to rave about really. But one day, it just stopped working, and my face would get extremely red and itchy. I didn't like it at all. I'm not sure what happened, but I wouldn't reccomend this product to anyone with sensative skin like me.

Pros:

well,
i have been using proactiv for about 2 months now, & the little acne bumps vanished but the bigger blemishes took a while to go away. In my opinon proactive is a pretty good product but it dosent wook with everyones skin.

Cons:

Its on the pricey side

Proactive eather works or it dosent. Stop using it if your skin isnt getting beter, dont even waste your money.

Pros:

NONE!!

Cons:

My acne stayed the same from the day i started using it untill the last use. It did not help at all it dried my skin out! DOES NOT WORK!!

The product does not work! When i sent it back they still sent me another package even after i marked that i did not like the results of the product. You think they would have picked up on it that obviousally i did not want it but yet they still sent me another box and charged it to my credit card. On top of that both times they charged me shipping and handeling and did not refund that money. It is a big rip off and they are very rude over the phone!! I highly do not recomment this product to anyone!!! Just go to the doctor and get something!

Pros:

None

Cons:

It made my breakouts ten times worse. It gave me horrible acne on my cheeks where I had never broken out before. I still continue to even after I stopped using it. It is way too harsh for even normal skin types.

Don't waste your money.

Pros:

Gave the appearance that my skin was getting better.

Cons:

Horribly dried out my skin, damaged my skin, and made my acne worse in the long run.

I was suckered into the Proactiv gimmick about 5 years ago when I was 13 and have had nothing but problems since. Why I continued to use it, I can only blame my own stupidity. It only worked if I continued use it twice a day, and even then it dried out my very sensitive skin, and their mosturizer did not solve the problem. I would try to stop using it but every time I did my skin would break out worse than before, but after doing some research I've realized that now my skin is just trying to heal the damage that was done by proactiv. I feel like my skin has been ruined. I am now spending $100.00 every two months on expensive skin treatments to repair all the damage done to my face. I'm going to start seeing a dermatologist about other treatments for the scars I have all over my face, but it doesn't change the fact that I spent so long wasting my time on something that was expensive and was actually doing damage to my skin.

Pros:

NONE!!!!

Cons:

Dry Skin!
Horrible Breakouts!
Burns

What a piece of crap this stuff is. You will see a difference in the first 24-36 hrs. After about 2 days you break out even worse, and it doesn't go away if you use more. I got the free trial and they charged me in full. I disputed the charge and won. Recieved another charge for double the price and I disputed it and they said it was a dispute fee! I told them off disputed it again and closed that card and got a new one issued they can sue me if they would like. Anyways now i am back to Persa GEL 10 I wouldn't recommend this crap to my worst enemies. George Bush is an exception!

Pros:

Skin improved in the first couple of days.

Cons:

Went downhill after that. Skin is worse than ever. Breaking out mostly on my cheeks and along my jaw line. Places I had never broken out before. After I stopped using proactiv after a couple of weeks, my skin still hasn't gotten better.

Proactiv is a waste of money. It pisses me off that they use jennifer love hewitt with her one f**king blemish as an advocate for acne treatment. Even P diddy, a spokesperson for proactiv, is pissed that it made his skin worse. I would never recommend this to anyone. I'm having a bitch time trying to reverse the effects of this sh*t product.
