Pros:

This seems to be doing the trick...and quite quickly

Cons:

My face is a bit dry but I am hopeful that will calm down by next week.

My acne began 4 years ago, I am 33 years old, and had never before had problems with my skin. My doctor said I had Rosacea and prescribed antibiotics, topical creams and cleansers. Combined they made me sick and my skin itchy and very dry. I took myself off of all those products after 2 years and have tried to manage this terrible skin on my own. I was getting fed up and depressed so I took the plunge and purchased this product. I have only been using it for 2 ½ days and already can see and feel a difference!!! The existing acne is healing, the bumps under the skin are gone and my face feels smooth! The redness is calming and other than the little bit of dryness, I seem to have no side effects ' My face doesn't even itch. I can't believe it''.Thank you!

Pros:

Exfoliates dead skin away, you can actually FEEL it working the first time you use it. MOST OF THE TIME, it clears your face up just fine.

Cons:

Dries skin out BADLY-although I do have sensitive skin. Bleached many shirts, towels, and now I'm discovering my eyebrows and hair around face are lighter.

Proactiv is good-sometimes. You can't live w/it, can't live without it is how I feel. My face usually gets really dry one week out of the month and proactiv does not help that at all. The rest of the month, it's fine. When I'm using it, I complain about it. But the second I run out and have to use something else till next shipment comes in, I'm begging for it!...? The moisturizer isn't strong enough I feel though. I have to reapply over and over, and still my face is a little dry-esp. eyebrows, around mouth and eyes, etc. But it is a very strong treatment that gets rid of "big acne" as I call it. I still have flare ups every month, mostly due to hormones, not severe acne or anything. I'm kinda indifferent about this product. I've been using it for years and complaining, but can't give it up!Also, the cleanser exfoliates- which I never understood why we would need to do that twice a day 7 days a week?? No wonder it dries out faces so bad. They need a reg. cleanser that isn't exfoliating

Pros:

it's working....

Cons:

can't buy in shops, only online, it's not cheap, but i would spend anything to have healthy beautful skin at last

i got my proactiv yesterday, and never would believe in just 24 hours, my skin is getting better, i just believed it would never work, and everyone who talked about it, was an actor. not true, im a normal housewife, aged 31 that still gets acne, at my age i should not be getting spots?, i never had spots at school, i was the girl everyone wanted to be, but now im getting them... and i have tried everything, and proativ was my last try, i really believed it wouldn't work and i would be asking for my money back, in 60 days, i won't be, my skin still has spots, its only been 24 hours so far, but this morning, i woke, to my spots not being so red and big, but to tiny stops thats look like there going, omg, this stuff is great, i have ordered more proactiv items, which i will recieve soon, can't wait. i can't wait to see what my skin looks like in a few months, i can only guess that its gone get better and better...

Pros:

When I first started using the 3 produts I saw some results. Then later I bought the 5 step product-for oily skin and again I noticed alittle more results than with just the 3step products.

Cons:

After using the product for awhile I have not seen any further improvements infact I notice that I have alot of little bumps on my forhead.

If you see improvements and it helps calm down your acne then stay with it. But for me I feel like I'm back where I started at starting from scratch.

Pros:

Exfoliates a bit, reduces redness, takes effect quickly.

Cons:

Might stop working for you, a little pricey.

I'm only reviewing the renewing cleanser because I think the other products are a rip off *** I think it's a very decent cleanser and for me I see results about 10 minutes after. It really does take away from redness. It's a good idea to switch on and off with this and another cleanser if it stops working.

Pros:

i saw it on tv.

Cons:

leaves my skin burning, and red. works at first but then stops

This is not worth the money or the time. you use it for a couple of weeks and makes your acne go away, but after that it irrates my skin and makes me break out more. If you forget to use it then it messes your skin up. Dont buy it, the tv lies, you dont actually know if there skin actually looks like that!!!

Pros:

It might have worked in the beginning...

Cons:

Expensive; stopped working after awhile; definitely better-scented products sold elsewhere.

For the price, it's definitely not worth it. I don't think it did much to my skin after the first month or so. I know that you're "supposed to keep a regimen for at least 6-8 weeks" to see results, but there are better products out there.
