Pros:

IT SUCKS

Cons:

didn't work even a little bit. had a weird smell. burned my skin when applied.

ADVICE: stop guessing, go to a dermatologist, not a doctor. my doctor made me try 1000000 useless creams before sending me to a dermatologist.

-do not buy. -does not work. -jessica simpson's a liar.

Pros:

I liked the smell, and it did leave my skin feeling clean but thats about it.

Cons:

Everything! It did not clear up my skin, in fact I feel it made it worse at times even though I was very consistant with using it and did everything I was supposed to. This was my 2nd time giving it a try, and never again will I waste my time and money!

Bottom line is that not only is this a bad product, but the customer service I received was extremely poor as well. After only having the product for less than 3 weeks, I noticed I had already been charged again for a new shipment when the bottles I had were still more than half full! I proceeded to cancel my enrollment at that time and send the new package back, and again 3 weeks later noticed another charge from proactive on my bank statement, because they had not received the returned product yet! Also when they do receive it, I will not be refunded the shipping and handling charges so that is almost $10 I am out. Anyone considering proactive I strongly suggest not to bother with it. You can find similar products at the store that won't cost nearly as much or take as much time to use.

Pros:

NONE!

Cons:

It dried out my skin, making it flaky near my chin, I had a few legions on the sides of my face from my football helment that were promlomous, but after using this stuff for about two weeks, I broke out all over and have inflamed cysts and scaring.

Dont buy proactive, only thier refining mask. Im going to try the regimin this site has offered soon.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Made face so irritated, red and itchy that it was flaking off. It looked like i had exzma on my face.
So sore that i couldn't even show basic emotions because my face was sooooo dry.

I was using the proactiv system twice a day and the exfoliating wash was so irritating that it stripped my skin of everything. It stripped it of its natural oil barrier (acid mantle). Although benzoyl peroxide in the topical cream form i find ok, but with the harsh cleanser and toner aswell, it just reaked havoc with my face. WAY TOO HARSH!!

Pros:

None... total waste of money

Cons:

Dryness and irrational occured. / Price is too high. / Horrible Customer service. / They kept charging me even though I cancelled the membership service.

Everybody has different skins and different reaction to certain product. But I don't really understand those good reviews on the internet because all of my friends who tried this horrifying product, had bad experiences. Their skin conditions got worse and for some of them, proactive did not do anything to their acne. So all of my friends (include me) wasted our money on it because, we used it for almost a year. Price is also too high, I used basic 3 steps for $39.99 and I was automatically joined to the proactive membership club or something. I personally think that proactive is bit pricey due to their commercials and stuff. They do too much ad on tv and magazines... ANYWAY, BEAWARE! it MIGHT works for you, but from my experience, Proactive is a total waste of money!

proactive isn't really the cure I would recommend for young teens like me. Others are better than paying a fortune on something that celebrities incourage that doesn't work for teens that have a hard life with acne.Good luck for everyone that has a better chance for clear skin

Pros:

My son tried this product for 8 months. This product does not work it ruined my sons face who was 16 years old at that time now 17. He had very few acne before he tried this proactive then it got worse after treatment.

Cons:

Expensive and does not work. They have an excellent commercial to sell this product and would not recommend to someone to try because it is too costly.

Product doesn't work and the company have celebrities to advertise this product. Shame on them. It ruined my teenage son's face.
