Pros:

It's the ONLY thing that I've tried that works!!! I've tried all the acne kits from: Murad, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear and Clinique.

Cons:

I've noticed if I'm out in the sun all day and I come home and use the product, that my skin tends to get redder and more sensitive.

It's been amazing to me, so I'm wouldn't even complain about the price. I'm 27 years old and I never had terrible skin, but I had the skin that constantly had at least 2 HUGE zits on my face at all times ever since I was 15. I LOVE PROACTIV!!!! Now I just need somthing for all the scars on my face. My friends and family have all noticed my newly clear face. I wish I would have tried it earlier... I was just a little iffy about a TV info-mercial product. I LOVE IT!!!

Pros:

Smell is fine. Left my skin super smooth and moisturized. No burning, flaking, or itching whatsoever.

Cons:

None that i can think of.

I'm a 15 year old female. I've used Benzaclin before. It was only a one step kind of thing and it did make my skin dry. I tried Proactiv and right away my skin was smooth, clean, and moisturized. Everybody's skin is different and it'll effect everyones differently. For me I had zero burning, itching, or flaking. As I said before, I've used a similar product so that may be why I haven't experienced that with Proactiv. I only just started this, but so far it's amazing. My parents noticed a drastic difference in my skin in just a couple of days. I only have mild acne; I broke out on my chin and a little on the sides of my face. So far, for me, this product is amazing and I absolutely love it. Some say that it was horrible; they broke out more than they did before using it and they had unbearable burning. They may be allergic to it or they may have very sensative skin, both of which I do not have. You have to take everything into consideration. You won't know until you try. Give it a shot.

Pros:

Cleared up skin fast.

Cons:

Dried out my skin horribly. After a year on it, the effects turned on me, and I found myself with blemishes in places (cheeks, nose) wher I had not had before.

After the flaking and peeling began, I used a bit more of the repairing lotion until I figured out that my face was reacting to it badly. I stopped using that and used a normal mosturizer. I would tell you that this works well for a while, but in the long run, fails to impress.

Pros:

Worked Really well to clear my acne, made skin look and feel alot better.

Cons:

Acne returns after a short while if you stop using product.

The products worked really well for me, I found them kind of expensive, but am willing to pay the price because they work so well. Unfortunately they are not a permanent cure, and you need to continue usage or else pimples return

Pros:

Those commercials sure are fancy. Otherwise, I can't think of anything.

Cons:

This product stripped my skin, left it dry, and aggravated my acne 'til it was worse than it was initially. It took months to get back to the point where my skin wasn't horrifically sore and sensitive.

Although it probably works for some people, it really is NOT for anyone with sensitive skin... I really don't recommend you even try it if you do. Stick with something more gentle, with less chemicals. Trust me. It burned me to the point of tears, and caused more frustration in the long run.

Pros:

Works at first

Cons:

After using this product for awhile your skin gets used to it. It dries your skin and cause irratation and your face will break out more....

Don't use it... find a mild cleanser and a spot treatment you like. I used this product for a year and it did work at first. About 2 months ago I started breaking out really bad with little rough spots and bumps all over my face. I kept using it hoping that it would clear my face with no luck...my skin got so dry that the skin around my eyes was soar.. I went to the doctor and they told me I had developed a for a dermatitis from the bp gave me hydrocortisone cream and told me to stop usage. As soon as I finally did my face started to clear up..I am still dealing with the damage tho my skin looks ten times better

Pros:

Nothing. NOTHING!

Cons:

Expensive, and it's JUNK! Chemicals aren't good for your skin! Benzoyl peroxide and methylparaben are TOXIC to the body. They cause cancer in lab rats. And yes Proactiv tests on animals! CRUEL!

I totally wasted my money on this stuff. It irritated my skin. Overall it didn't fix anything. And I want to punch that blond bimbo Jessica Simpson every time I see the add. LIAR! Slick marketing.. don't be fooled! It's no better than regular acne products. To be honest, I have been using a mask of baking soda and water, and it has been the only thing that gets rid of my acne! Baking soda is better than anything I've ever used before. And it's natural!
