Pros:

The foam soap works well and so does the clarifying lotion

Cons:

The new moisturizer with benzoyl peroxide made my skin dry, flaky, itchy & red. I returned it for the regular Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.

Clinique recently changed their Acne Solutions line to include benzoyl peroxide (instead of the Salicylic Acid they used to use). I preferred the old formulas on almost everything and am currently looking for a new brand to use. It's a shame because my skin is so acne prone and the now discontinued products worked perfectly for me. :(

Pros:

available at local department stores

Cons:

Didn't do anything. Started with the basic 3 step system, then was told to add a gel makeup remover, clay mask, spot treatment gel, etc.etc. Finally stopped shelling out the cash and went back to proactive.

stick to the makeup section.

Pros:

Has a lot of natural ingredients. No perfumes.

Cons:

Quite pricey and the ladies at the Clinique counter will try to get you to buy as much as possible.

I've heard that Clinique's products are harsher than other products because they are targeted for a younger demographic. I use the antibacterial soap (lather for thirty seconds to kill germs) and it is great for the warmer months but too drying into the winter. I skip all of their step two's (clarifying lotions) because they all contain alcohol which makes my skin worse. Their acne body spray, nighttime acne gel and post-blemish formula are great (none of which I use every single day). Remember: not all acne products will work the same for everyone.

Nope! didn't work
This didn't do anything for me and I returned it - the store was very gracious to take it back even though I had used most of it...but I was told I could return it if it didn't work so I did

Not happy

Pros:

none

Cons:

doesn't work
to expensive

I think this system is a big waste of money i after almost 2 months it made my break outs worst i would not ever try this product again

Pros:

*smells very nice
*face feels soft
*good toner
* moisturizer is awesome!

Cons:

*very expensive
* didn't help much with acne

i would recommend this for people with normal acne but not for girls like myself. I used it for 3 months and i didn't see any improvements. i thought that because it is sold in the mall and it is expensive it would work wonders but it didn't. =C maybe this product is not meant for severe acne and that is why it didn't work on me!

Pros:

available over the counter, price, smell

Cons:

didn't really work that well

I used this for about a year, it seemed to work better than my spot treatments, but my acne wouldn't go away. I finally gave in and visited a derm. I wish I had done that sooner. If your acne is mild I can see how this might work, but if you try it for awhile and it's not working, move on asap and see a doctor. They can prescribe you more effective treatments.

Pros:

- Works fast
- Non-perfumed
- Good organised as a kit
- May reduce acne

Cons:

- Dries out the skin over time
- Turns skin into a sheet of paper
- Too harsh lotion

I was using the 3 steps about six months and at the beginning it was Ok, though it doesn't clear up my face but reduced the pimples, I had to deal with 2-3 a week. Over time my skin began to turn red gradually and after that I noticed that it is so dry that I need more of the 3 step which made my face glowing but didn't effectively moisturize it. After a few months my face felt as if I had leather instead of skin, and I began also getting bigger red bumps. Then I stopped it and decided to try another system. Unfortunately, now I have to take some break because of the overdriness and the destructive causes of the natural balance of the skin, because over time that's what this product has done. I now only wash my face twice a day with Cetaphil and treat the pimples locally, but I am feeling better, because after all I love my skin and want to give her love. I recommend the product if you want to try the Clinique system, but I would not recommend it for long-term use and be kept as an effective regiment.

Pros:

Easy to use

Cons:

Only worked for a short period of time

I had high hopes for this product as I really like most Clinique items. Unfortunately this was not the case. It seemed to clear up some of my acne for a while, but now has come back worse than before.

Pros:

Cleared acne

Cons:

Drying

Ive used this product for about 6 months. Ive tried everything under the sun including the acne.org system nothing cleared it up completely until this. For the first few weeks it was great my face cleared up so much, but after that it did break me out again, but dont give up on it if you stay with it it will clear up completely. For me it does take time for this to work I would say around 1-5 months for ur skin to get use to it. I use to have really inflamed acne all over my face and now I only get maybe one to two pimples with in a few weeks and they are really small. At first I bought the 3 products this came with but I was having problems with the cleanser not taking all my make up off. So what I did was buy the acne bar soap and use that as the cleanser, It last soo much longer then the foam it takes off all my make up and its great for body acne as well. It cleared my acne that I have had since I was 15/16. Just make sure you dont touch ur face during the day. Also try a cream that has scrubbing beads(I use St. Ives Timeless skin, I dont use a scrub that has harsh peroxides for acne bc it drys the skin out more) maybe 3 times a week, but make sure not to put a lot of pressure when using it just a very light touch and rub it for about 5-10 seconds and rinse it off with warm water. The clinique system does not help with scars so Im still looking for a product to help with that, but at least I dont have all the pimples Ive had before! Try it and keep with it! I hope you have success with it as I have!
