Pros:

Works within the first few days, little or no fragrance, easy to use, not too much drying, spot treatment with 3-step is fantastic, cleanser not gritty and feels very refreshing, clarifier gets rid of makeup and dead skin, works better than Proactiv

Cons:

A little expensive compared to normal cleansers and toners, takes a little time to use all the steps in the morning

This product works great and is definitely worth the price. I've been using it day and night for about 3 days, and I've seen immediate results. I had slightly oily skin, and my problem areas were cheeks- sides that I slept on, and my forehead where my bangs are. The cleanser is great, and foamy and refreshing, and doesn't feel heavy. The clarifying lotion gave immediate satisfaction, because when you use it on the cotton ball, you could always see the dead skin and makeup it took off. The moisturizer is nice, cuts the drying of the clarifier, and the spot treatment worked great. I only used it at night on a few problem areas, and by morning, they either shrunk or were completely gone (make sure you pull your hair back!) . It makes my skin feel and look smooth, and so clean.

Pros:

Started working right after the first use. Redness was gone and less shiny :-)

Cons:

I can see why people say it is drying, but if your skin can handle the ProActiv 3 steps, then it can handle Clinique 3 step.

Sooo worth it! I don't feel ashamed of my skin anymore. I still get one pimple here and there, but nowhere near as often as I got them before Clinique. My make up also looks smoother on my face more than ever! I highly recommend this product!!!!

Pros:

I like the bar of soap, because it makes your face feel very clean. The clarifying lotion has a slight tingle to it for me, and I like that because it lets me know it is working.

Cons:

Be sure to use enough lotion because it can dry your face out. To be honest the dry skin really isn't too bad, I'd rather have a little dry skin over pimples the size of Montezuma on my face any day.

Growing up, I was very lucky because I rarely had to wash my face and never had acne. Now at age 27, it had become a nightmore! I constantly had one or two bigs pimples pop up, and I would squeeze until they bled and I couldn't squeeze them any more. At any rate, they looked horrible and very embarressing! So I got a free trial size of Clinique Acne Solutions at Sephora with another purchase, and it really has been a dream come true. I could tell a difference overnight in using it. Obviously, everyone has different skin and issues, but this worked for me.

Pros:

Easy to use, great toner, soothing cleanser

Cons:

None really, flaky skin is to be expected

After experimenting I have created my own regimen that works for me. I scrub (very lightly) with St. Ive's every evening because I have very thick oil that mixes with my makeup and ew... Then I use the 3-step program. The cleanser is mentholated and feels soothing. The toner takes some getting used to because it burns and will make your skin flake after a couple of days. I switched out the 3rd step (moisturizing part) for bio-oil. I do this every morning and night. I do it before breakfast to let the oil absorb, then I put my makeup on. After initially breaking out my skin is much much much much better. I also had swollen, red, sensitive patches on my face which the bio-oil took care of. I love you bio-oil. St. I'ves is probably horrible, but I've been addicted for years, so... Hope you all find something that works for you!!!!!!!! *mUaH*

Pros:

Clears acne, reduces oiliness and shine

Cons:

can make skin a bit dry in the winter, the counters can't keep the line in stock

The 3 step acne line is fabulous. Although I still get the occassional breakout, it is a rarity compared to before. My skin tone is more even and bright. I have tried many products including proactiv and this is better by far.

Pros:

Easy to use, gentle on sensitive skin, money back guarantee

Cons:

Can run out quickly, a little expensive

I love this treatment. I'm 22 and I've used tons of different things including prescriptions of Differin and Tetracycline, also ProActiv and Dan's regimen. Clinique has worked the best for me. It hasn't completely cleared up my skin, but it is a major improvement from what it was. It makes my skin very soft and has gotten the oil under control. The pimples that I do still get are easily covered and usually just around the time of my period. I run out of the BP lotion about every month, but the rest of the line lasts quite awhile. I would highly recommend these products to anyone with stubborn acne. I wish I would have found it sooner before wasting my money on prescriptions and over the counter junk. Try it!

Pros:

Controls oiliness and definitely helped control my acne. Plus if you usually get free perks when you make a purchase.

Cons:

It's a bit price, but when you start adding up a face wash, toner, and moisturizer at the store it's actually not that bad.

I'm a 21 year old female who's had acne since the 5th grade. It's never been sever (no cysts or anything like that) but I have consistent black/white heads and bumps all over my cheeks, nose, and forehead. I have used everything under the sun and had just gotten off using DDF for Acne. Clinique JUST started this line and I wanted to give it a shot. Note to other members - there are many 3 step face products by Clinique. Make sure you are reviewing the Acne System. I noticed a big change in my face. In the winter I used Neutrogeana's Combiantion Oil Free Moisturizer following the 3 steps b/c my face did get a little dry. But other than that I use all 3 steps and it works wonderfully on my face.PLUS I signed up to be a member (which is free) when I made my purchase and I got some great free Clinique products. YEY! It not only controlled my acne but my oily face as well and I really do love it!!!

Pros:

Cleared up my skin immidiately. Softer brighter acne-free skin now after olny 4 weeks of continous use.

Cons:

None.

It's been about 2 years that I struggled with acnes which I never had during my teenage years. In the past, I used to use an Yves Rocher oil-free lotion and it was really good with my skin but it was discontinued and I could never find a replacement for it. I tried so many different brand names, you name it: Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, Clarins, Shiseido all oil-free of course. They all cloged my pores and made my breakout worse. I even tried many different over the counter products such as Neutrogena, Olay, Aveeno (moisturizer was the worst, however I love the foaming cleanser! and to me is the best!)No help until last month that I discovered (!) this new line of clinique, Oh my God, I couldn't believe my eyes, finally something's working! So the bottom line is that whatever works well on my skin would not necessarily work for you and vice versa as I had read so many compliments about other products which never worked for me. Stick to whatever that works for your skin!
