Pros:

It pretty much cleared up everything, except for maybe about 3-4 tiny zits. But thats amazing for me.
My forehead, looks like a baby's forehead now its so clear.
Made girls more attracted to me, and I didnt feel like they were staring at my acn

Cons:

Purging process is a mother ****. Made me break out like crazy.
Burning feeling in the first two weeks.
Dried my face terribly, but it could of been from the cold/winter. And there is no way it takes 4 weeks to work, its longer, but WORTH IT!

It has cleared up my acne SO MUCH! I used to get big red pimples on my forehead, sides of my face, and all over chin and lower jaw. It takes longer then 4 weeks, but you gotta try it. Ive tried everything, Proactiv, Clearsil, Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, Prescribtions from doctors and dermatoligists, and Murad, is the thing that worked. Im telling you, dont listen to the other people, they must of not used it right, this works.

Pros:

- The kit comes with a moisturizer, unlike ProActiv and some others (its a good one too).
- The cleanser smells and feels nice.

Cons:

- If you miss a treatment, you're screwed.
- The toner smells like glue and feels weird and sticky on your skin
- Expensive. $30 + shipping for a month's supply? No thank you.

I was using a Clean & Clear astringent whenever I had major issues and moved on to this for better control. It worked SLIGHTLY better, but wouldn't any 3 step system, 2 times a day compared to my usual 3 times a week or so of a 1 step, $7 product? I find it just doesn't work much. Nothing horrible about it but for that price, don't bother. I'm using ProActiv now with much better results. In fact, the Clarifying Mask for Murad seems very similar to ProActiv's Refining Mask. Although it has a whole lot less sulfur, which is the active ingredient.

Pros:

None!

Cons:

Murad has done nothing for my face if anything it made it HORRIBLE! I would believe that it is for severe acne but for moderate or sensitive BEWARE!!!!
I had to go to a determatogist after that hurtful encounter!

TRY PROACTIV! If proactiv doesn't work for you stick with it for a few months and it will start to fight acne without aggrevating your pores like Murad does.. BOTTOM LINE.... MURAD IS TERRIBLE!

Pros:

Didn't dry out my skin..wasn't as expensive as other acne products but then again didn't work on me so still a waste.

Cons:

The "toner" or exoliating gel or whatever it's calls smells like vinegar. The moisterizer on TOP of the acne repairing lotion kinda rubs into a peeling consistancy. Doesn't happen when I use the moiterizer alone. Made my acne worse!

I had almost gotten clear after about a year of severe acne using Clinique Acne Solution.. Then I decided to try Murad to finish up the job. For the record.. I did not quit Murad when the purging process began. I was well aware I'd break out a BIT... I gave this product 90 days when I should have stopped at 4 weeks.. I broke out after about 3 weeks.. got cystic nodular bumps all over my chin. I then broke out on my cheeks which I never break out on. And my forehead got a few bumps as well (I haven't had zit on my forehead in ages) I kept using it thinking it'd get better but it only got worse and now I have a mess on my face. The last few weeks of using Murad I noticed my skin felt inflamed and itchy after application. That's when I realized it was doing more harm than good. I stopped usage yesterday and switched to a product with benzoyl and my skin is slowly recuperating. I'm sure this works great for some people. Simply did not for me..I say try for yourself.

Pros:

It clears up or pimple and white head , skin look tight like teen. no flaky But I use just toner and ex foliate acne gel.

Cons:

when I use the whole package it made my face terrible and flaky.

at first I use the whole package 2 year ago at first 2 weeks my skin was so perfect. my pimple all gone. I use a lot of exfoliate acne gel and a lot of toner. then after that my skin got worse and worse. so terrible. then I switched to Proactive then Dan regimen, even how long I 've had use I never had a good day. I alway get a new big pimple every other day! then I thought my skin must love Salicid acid but at that time I must use it overuse. then I switched back to murad again but I use only toner and exfoliate acne gel. and I just use a little one time a day then 3 months later morning and night and I use Estee advance night repair for moisture. That's it! now my skin is so incredible. I got people give me compliment how my skin so perfect in age of 30s.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Everything

I have always had perfect skin up until 3months ago when i had a terrible break out on my forehead.. a friend recommended Dr Murad and so i went ahead and ordered 2months worth of treatment. And omg, my skin has never been so terrible, the first 3 weeks i didnt break out, but after that i've had acne like you wouldn't beleive and it has left marks all over my face... im so sad..now im using clinique acne complex..lets see how that goes.. i only read the good stuff about murad, i guess i didnt do my hmwrk by reading this site... but the person who told me about dr murad, her skin used to be terrible and this has really helped her, she has flawless skin..she has been using it for a few years now...good luck!

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

Dry red skin, painful blisters, more breakouts

I am convinced this product doesn't work on sensitive skin. I used it lightly as the package said and then increased over time. I had a light breakout and after a few days I had 3 times as many bumps - and they were large and painful. I used the spot treatment which made them blistery and has taken over two weeks for them to heal. Normally I would get one or two of these type a month and it would be about a 5 day healing cycle. I had to stop using it because I was afraid the purging process would never end and I am too busy with work to wait for this embarrassing time to end! I also noticed that my eyes look very swollen - similar to how they look when I have allergies. It is just too harsh for anyone with sensitive skin! Don't believe the commericials! What is really strange is that I keep reading great reviews until I found this site where everyone is having the same problems I have!

Pros:

I like the way the product LOOKS. And I only liked the moisturiser.

Cons:

Not worth the price, very irritating, and not a pretty scent.

i was desperate to start using a new medication that will hopefully work for me. the very first time I use it, the damn exfoliating gel burned my face! at first i thought its was normal and kept using it. At the second day every time i put gel it not only burned, but it itched so bad i couldn't help but scrath my face full of blemishes which made it more painful. No way im using it again. I almost cried, my hopes were lost for this product. Bye bye Murad. (I was hoping to say instead "bye bye acne")
