Pros:

Moisturizer is good if you have dry skin.

Cons:

Everything has a smell to it. Moisturizer will look greasy on you if you have regular skin. Spot Treater sucks and doesn't work at all. Acne Gel leaves skin looking wet/greasy. High Price, especially if you use a new kit every month.

Overall it doesn't work at all. The first month or so it looked like it was working, but then it trailed off so badly that I was left with greasy, red, acne filled skin, along with a good bit of cystic acne. All the "success" stories are lies. I think the problem is the system itself. Salicylic Acid breaks down your pores in a way to prevent clogging. A gel cant do this effectively, you are better off using Stridex pads for that. Also, it doesn't kill bacteria, the other clogging agent that causes acne. So it results in a system that is doomed from the start. I am now on Dans regimen, but sort of my own version. I use Clean & Clear Foaming Oil Free Cleanser, Dan's BP Gel, and Complex 15 Moisturizing Face Cream, and my skin is the clearest it has been in years! The only problem I am currently having is since we just hit winter my skin is drying out a bit and peeling at nights after taking a shower.

Pros:

Very good! Worked the moment I put it on! The moisturizer is my favorite, it's potent enough for my dry skin and helps the acne.

Cons:

A little overpriced and no SPF

Wonderful product if you are willing to spend a little more.

Pros:

Cleared my back entirely, evens out lumps and bumps

Cons:

Price

The exfoliating gel in this kit is beautiful, giving a fantastic even skin tone and the cleanser is also very good, however the spot gel did more or less nothing. The acne on my back and chest was cleared and stayed away with this set, but on my face the effect was less permanent. I'd say this is very good for clearing up anything hideous, but not something that should be used as a 'regular' preventative. It's also good for sensitive skin: Neutrogena tore skin off my face and back, but this product is gentle enough and non-drying enough to not bother me.

Pros:

Smelled good. Minty, fragrance. Packaging, very sleek & tiny.

Cons:

Treatment Gel. The worst product in that package. Do not use that product! made my skin worse than ever!

Overall, my fave products in Murad were the Cleanser & Moisturizer. THe Acne treatments were horrible. After my face broke out horribly, I cut down to just the cleanser & moisturizer.. it helped a bit. But face was already damaged from Murad.

Pros:

Nothing really to put on here besides the good packing to be honest.

Cons:

There many cons with this product. After several months finishing accutane my acne started to come back, but not as bad as before. SO i went back with proactiv & and I saw murad so i gave it a try. tried if for 2 weeks and i noticed a huge worsening.

I also called murad and they told me im just going through the purging process, but i started to get these small like pimples i was even sure if they were even pimples but my skin was very sensitive and pink and it kinda made my skin a bit oily. the downer with this product is that it comes with a lot of steps and i just feel like it was too much for my skin. Also, if u buy there products individually it is very expensive. i even went to there office with an aesthetician and i got a facial and that was pretty nice let me tell u, her advice was to work on my diet which i was already skinny myself. 5'11 135 pounds. yea i know. anyways the facial felt really good but it was too expensive. all she did was remove some of the pimples and blackheads and she jes made me lay down and relax half the time so it wasnt even worth it. anyways jes try it maybe it'll work for ur skin but mine didnt from that point on i jes went down hill. now im using accutane and it is a lot better.

Pros:

Absolutely none!

Cons:

Causes EXTREME irritation and drying of the skin. Causes little red (blood filled) bumps around mouth. Causes MORE acne!

So I have mild acne-I get maybe 2-4 pimples a month typically. Since I went off my birth control I have been having there horrible breakouts, so I went online looking for a good spot treatment gel and stumbled upon Murad on amazon. I read the first page of feedback and they were all very positive. I went to the mall and bought the spot treatment on Saturday and tried it out. The next day my face was burning, itching, and covered in little red bumps. Now I am using burt's bee's and tea tree oil to calm my skin down-this happened after ONE treatment! Don't buy this product it will destroy your face. Why would you by a product that only works for 10% of people, with the majority breaking out worse. Use gentle cleansers, tea tree oil, and on occasion Borghese fango active mud-that stuff works!

Cons:

This is THE worst product I have EVER used. I was so excited to get it for christmas. Then I used it and my skin got SO MUCH WORSE. I used it for a month and a half thinking it would get better but it didn't. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.
