Pros:

Worked well at first......

Cons:

Stopped working all together after a few months. Used to have a lot of small pimples, now I have a few rather large ones at all times. I can handle the small ones better than the large ones!!

Not worth the money!!! I have tried many cheaper products from Wal-Mart and had better success than with this product and at a fraction of the price. I have been looking everywhere to try and find a product that actually works....guess I'll try another one!

Pros:

The Murad skin care product works excellent if you use it properly,
doesn’t dry out skin like most acne product, doesn’t leave scars, dries quickly. What’s there more to say best acne product I ever used.

Cons:

Price way over priced.
Packaging.... a little cheap produced.
Doesn’t smell the greatest

First of all I want to say I been suffering from acne for 6 years,(now clear) and I tried a lot of different methods to stay clear from acne, all I can say do your research people... A product will not make your skin completely free of acne you know that, no product out there can do that, but it will help control the bacteria on your skin. 'MURAD' does an amazing job best anti acne product I tried out there, Like I mentioned before this product will only HELP kill the bacteria on your skin. And that means it's like a fire distinguisher, but doesn't take care of the problem. The problem is inside you and you have to treat acne from INSIDE. All I can say is to clear up your acne you have to do the following: 1. Stop blaming acne products (fire distinguishers) that they don't work, you completely know that they are just there to help out not cure acne. 2. Get the best book written about acne and treat it like a bible: The Clear Skin Diet ¸ Alan C. Logan, ND, FRSH and Valor

Pros:

You can have a refund :)

Cons:

It burned my face
It made my T-zone greasy!
The price for this isn't justified

My face is worse than before I started the product The step 2 "gel-exfoliant" irritated my skin painfully! Proactiv is way better.. it's not as irritating and it smells so much better than Murad.

Pros:

Makes your skin feeling soft.
Reduces Redness

Cons:

Small bottles
Purging period was/is horrible.
You must do it twice a day.

I would, but you have to be patient and take the time to use the product everyday. And if you have a purging period, be patient, it only lasts maybe up to 2-3 weeks.

Pros:

Makes your complexion and skin smoother and better looking, and helps to get rid of the brown spots left over from previous pimples.

Cons:

I don't like how the purging process works. I know that it's necessary, but still. And I gotta go school with it too

I have been using it for like a week and it has definitely made my skin look a lot healthier and got rid of many of my brown spots left from pimples. In my opinion, Proactive gets rid of pimples better, buy Murad is way better for your skin. I'm hoping my acne will start to clear up within the reccomended 4 weeks.

Pros:

No noticable smell, quality products, effective

Cons:

Expensive, but cheaper on eBay, etc.

Its the only thing that has cleared my SEVERE CYSTIC ACNE of more than 10 years. Im 30 years old and do not have teen acne. I had severe, painful, hormonal, huge practically boil like pimples under my skin that lasted for MONTHS. I was priviously using a line, Skintaxics, which I was hoping would work, but didn't. My skin was horrible and sooo dry, b/c I had a clay product on 12 hours a day. Anyhow, I tried Murad, and my skin was improving within a week. I had no purging, only improvement. By my 4th week, and ever since I only have one pimple! I use to have 15-20 pimples at any given time. Murad has been a life saver to me. And I've tried everything out there. Proactiv was a joke. But Murad has literally save my life. I was so depressed when I turned 30 and still had terrible acne. Well, not anymore. If you try murad, get the clarifying toner. It's my fav product. It feels great and preps the skin so that the other products absorb into the skin and don't just "sit" on it. Good L

Pros:

Does not bleach materials like Proactive does.

Cons:

Everything! The formula is very rough on the skin, it hurts to put it on. And it makes your acne worse!

AWFUL! Do not waste your money on Murad. I tried it for a month and my skin was horrendus. I had used Proactive and my skin was relatively okay, so I thought I would give Murad a try to knock out the rest of my blackheads and the few white heads I would get around my period. Instead I completely broke out, worse than when I was a teenager and was prescribed Accutane for severe acne. And it never went away. They talk about a purging period, which is ridiculous. My skin is awful, I have tons of bumps on my neck, forehead, and chest (all where I used Murad). I have switched back to Proactive and am getting monthly facials to help. I wish I never tried Murad. It will take me months to fix what it did to my skin. Save yourself some money, time, and heartache over bad skin by staying far far away from this product.
