Pros:

cleansed well
toner was nice

Cons:

spot treatment left terrible marks behind

used this when i was younger... still have scars from the horrible acne and scabs it gave me. i used it for a couple of months, and at that time my acne was moderately severe. the spot treatment is what caused the burns, scabs, and now scars, they have faded, and are gone with some makeup, but i have one above my eyebrow that i have cut bangs to cover. I did not apply too much, it just caused a horrible reaction. also, my skin never stopped "purging" even though i was on it for a little under three months.

Pros:

Reduced acne for about 2 days (not by much)

Cons:

Cystic acne
Horrible breakouts
Oily skin

I used this acne kit for about a month and a half and it basically destroyed my skin. I went from having a couple white heads and regular pimples to big, red cystic acne. I still have scars from what it caused. Don't use it.

Pros:

- Eliminates breakouts

- minimizes light scarring

Cons:

- can be very drying

I have been using Murad for a few weeks, anda at first was terrified by the reviews I read about the product. I have very oily skin, but I only have mild acne. At first, I used the products twice a day as directed. In my opinion, this is way too much for this strong product, and probably why many people experience dissatisfaction with it. I use this kit just once daily (in the morning) and use a gentle cleanser at night. I also supplement with a stronger moisterizer - seems to work great for me with this combination.

Pros:

was OK

Cons:

not great

i used this for about a year because i thought it had worked the best of anything i had tried before. i finally stopped using it because i wanted to keep trying products to see if something else helped better. i would recommend this to someone who has mild acne because it does seem to help the small bumps but not the big cysts or whiteheads, and it does make your skin smooth.

Pros:

Available in stores
No benzoyl peroxide
Most products in the kit last a long time

Cons:

Doesn't work
Somewhat expensive
Some of the products smell bad

I have tried many acne products with little success. What attracted me to this product was its availability in stores (vs. having to buy online) and the fact that it doesn't contain benzoyl peroxide (therefore doesn't bleach my pillow cases and towels). The product did not work for me. I had moderate acne before starting the kit and now have worse acne than when I started. The spot treatment smells bad and the tube ran out after a couple of weeks. The other products have lasted me several months and I still have not run out; however, I am discontinuing use because of the poor results. This product may work for others but it did not work for me.

Pros:

the moisturizer is good.

Cons:

the exfoliating cream made my face really red and burned it.

i've been useing this product for two weeks now and it seems like my face is worst then befor they say that that is supposed to happen but since its been two weeks you would think it would start getting a little clearer i guess i will just wait the whole four weeks maybe it will be better.

Pros:

Light, refreshing, no dyes, works fairly quickly

Cons:

Not so natural ingredients, a bit time consuming

There are a lot of bad reviews on this product. Honestly, I have not had a bad experience with this product. Everyone's skin, daily habits, diets, circumstances, etc. are different and all these factors will influence whether a product works for you or not. It's worth a shot if you are looking for a new product to try because your old ones aren't working. If you're already on an anti-acne treatment kit/routine and switching over to Murad's, it would probably be wise to give your skin a break in-between or introduce the new products gradually. I tried to go the natural route when controlling my acne and had very little success. I still eat very well, exercise and try to keep my stress levels low, but sometimes you just need some extra help. Murad has helped to take away the stress and low self esteem that acne can cause.

Horrible product, will ruin your life.
This product made my skin blow up with acne, and for the first time in my life (I'm actually past my teenage years), I was nicknamed pizza face. I started this treatment when I was applying for a new job and since my forehead made me look like I had leprosy, I had to cut my own bangs to cover up my forehead. I switched back to Proactiv and now the damage from this sh*tty product has been reversed. AVOID MURAD AT ALL COST!

THIS STUFF IS MAGIC
I am a teenage girl with lots of acne. I have been using this for about a week now. A week ago my skin looked like a red swollen mess with big zits everywhere that needed to be popped. Today, my skin is FLAWLESS! I am in love with Murad, IN LOVE! I love the way the clarifying cleanser feels on my face, it feels fresh and clean when I am done using it, and it smells good when it's on, it's easy to rub on and off of my face. Then, the next step feels like a nice lotion, but it's acne treatment/repair. I don't feel any burning or stinging with this one. The next Treatment and Repair step is if you have a prominent zit on your face, you apply it directly there. I noticed the size of my zit shrink in about 3 mins! At this point, I am not even needing that step though, my skin looks great, no more big zits!!! After about 3 days of applying that to the zit area they were all gone! I honestly believe that Murad is magic, at least for my skin. The lotion also feels good, and is GREAT sun protection! My only complaint is that Murad makes your face look a little shiny, so while using you may want to use a powder based foundation. But my face feels radiant! I have never felt so confident in my skin before! I LOVE this product and recommend it to everyone! If you are comparing this to Rodan and Fields or Clinique, look at my reviews for those, too (POST OF SHAME, and OUCH)! I hope this helped!

Pros:

Feels refreshing..

Cons:

Little bottles, Expensive, MAKES SKIN WORSE!!!

I bought Murad two weeks ago , i used it for FIVE DAYS and the first day it felt refreshing then the second day my face started itching like crazy.. I though it was normal but then the third day i got a LOT of white heads in spots IVE NEVER broken out.. then i called and they said it was normal and part of the "purging process" . The forth day i saw my face and Makeup couldnt even cover the bumps i literally started crying , my mom saw my face and said it made me get a rash..Im still waiting for my face to heal.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS , GO TO A DERMATOLOGIST . Ive been using my old skin routine and its helped a little. DONT PAY MONEY TO MAKE YOUR SKIN WORST PEOPLE.
