I actually love this product

Pros:

Fast-Acting
Actually Working
Seeing Results

Cons:

Can be itchy (as expected)

I'm actually surprised to read so many bad reviews on this product. I'll admit - I brought Murad from Sephora and after reading all the reviews had a mini panic attack after my first night of treatment and then reading all of these reviews. Obviously everyone is extremely different and have different experiences, circumstances, chemistries, etc. but I actually am having a really great experience with it. I've been using it for a little over a week now and my face is already almost completely clear. I am now mid 20's, and growing up never had a single pimple or anything, and randomly I had a breakout which I could not get under control. I stopped wearing make-up, stopped picking, etc. but nothing could clear my breakout. A friend at work recommended Murad, so in my desperate state I tried it. This is my first ever treatment I have used for acne, and I'm completely satisfied so far. No purging or excessive breakouts like people have explained. Maybe it's just my skin chemistry, but it's working really well for me so far. Another part of the problem I think people are having too is diet and hormones. I just began taking birth control again to get my hormones regulated, and I have been chugging water and eating veggies and a cleaner diet. I stopped wearing make-up for a few days and between that and Murad I, and my family have already seen an extreme improvement. Any kind of treatment like this isn't just miracle solution that will work overnight or work without some kind of diet and hormone combination. Give it time, try and regulate hormonal imbalances, drink lots of water, and eat your veggies. And don't touch your face! I had a major bad habit of this and I think that was another main issue. Murad all the way for now. Just stay extremely consistent - don't overuse or underuse products.

Pros:

Cleanser smells nice.

Cons:

Caused rash.
Caused dry, red, itchy, irritated skin.

I was recommended this product by a saleswoman at Sephora. She said this was a better choice then Clinque because it had given people faster results. I tried it the first day and liked the feel and the smell. A couple days later my skin broke out in a rash and has become very itchy. It looks very similar to a heat rash. I would not recommend this product.

Pros:

At first acne went down . Big pimples don't come out as big.

Cons:

White heads get more bigger/nasty , got acne were I never use to get it. Started to sting a bit. Acne everywere on face : cheeks ,forehead, chin, nose, around lips,

Have been using it a bit over a month and acne changed from little white heads and big ugly pimples to not as big pimple but more and bigger white heads and red bumps. Good results at first then- big and saddening disappointment .

Pros:

Doesn't dry out skin
Moisturizer is non-greasy
Nice lather on the cleanser

Cons:

Pricey
Takes a couple weeks to see a difference
Would be nice if it came with a toner

I had pretty severe acne when I was a teen, but even at 24 my skin is always extremely oily and I frequently have clogged pores and at least 2-3 zits on my face at a time. Since my skin is so oily I didn't find that this product dried it out too much. I really appreciated how the moisturizer is light and non-greasy because I usually stray away from using moisturizers because of this. I have been using this for about 4 weeks now, and my pores are virtually un-clogged and my overall skin tone (redness and scaring) has decreased quite a bit. Maybe this stuff isn't the greatest for severe acne, but for twenty-somethings with mildly problematic skin it's probably worth a try!

Pros:

packaging. i guess.

Cons:

like the other reviews stated, i had fairly light acne before i started this regime. now i actually have huge bumps all over my forehead! (i never got pimples on my forehead before), cheeks, and even chin. my acne is the worse its been ever... (and i've tried ALOT of acne regimes) and its also the reddest its been (my skin is fairly sensitive as well).

I've been using this product for almost 2 months now, and have seen no progress. this system actually made my skin worse and my acne wasn't even that bad to begin with. dont buy this!

Pros:

Smells good. Leaves skin soft.

Cons:

Made me break out. Expensive.

I've seen the commercials, so I decided to give it a try since Proactive didn't work for me. After 4 weeks of using the treatment, it made my whole forehead break out a lot. It might have worked for some people but it did not work for me.

Pros:

Works great!

Cons:

Price

I had tried everything! Proactiv made my skin WORSE, Burts Bee's Acne Treatment moderately helped my skin, and any drug store treatment did little to nothing. While I won't sit here and tell you that my skin is 100% clear 100% of the time, I do have some light acne scarring and a few pimples now and then, but Murad cleared up my skin as best can be expected. I'm no longer self conscious about my acne, and with a little bit of makeup I feel downright great! I plan to try and use the product that lightens post-acne scars soon, and hopefully that will lighten some of the damage that was done by proavtiv and just simply not having a good treatment. But in the end I would totally recommend this. It works differently for everyone, some people do well with different things, but the $25 offer is worth a shot. If you don't see your acne clearing up in the 4 weeks, Murad probably won't work for you. But be sure to give it the full 4 weeks!

Pros:

During the first week i noticed a lot of the redness went away.
Second week i noticed my skin starting to really clear up.
Third week my skin was almost clear, i seriously couldn't believe it then fourth week i had clear skin!

Cons:

Salicylic acid gel kinda smells bad and burns but is tolerable

This is a miracle product for me. I've tried everything and this was pretty much my last hope and it pulled through. I will continue to use Murad products for as long as i live!

Pros:

Reduced Breakouts after the third week and made it look a lot healthier.

Cons:

You have to be super consistent stick with it and eat a little bit healthier.

People can't just say "o im gunna but this on my face and its going to clear up." You have to follow the instructions they give you exactly. They also tell you that your skin will purge. Making old covered up blemishes come to your attention in a mission for more HEALTHY skin.
