Pros:

Actually works!
Cheapness

Cons:

Causes small case of dry skin

Works amazingly but leaves dry skin on surface applied, but with moisturisers, that's nothing. 5 star! ;]

Pros:

Works better than other Benzoyl Peroxide creams. It also dries up oily skin well.

Cons:

Can overly dry your skin if it's sensitive, maybe start with the 5% cream.

It's worth trying. Although I still get spots, Quinoderm manages them well and seems to stop them appearing. It is best to use it in conjunction with an individual spot cream as well for stubborn spots. Good luck!

Pros:

Works quickly
Proven to work unlike many other OTC treatment s

Cons:

Leaves visible dry patches on clothing
Leaves visible dry patches on skin
Makes skin sun sensitive

I've used benzoyl peroxide on and off for 8 years. as I didn't get acne until I got to my late 20s due to suffering from very dry skin until then. This time fed up with spots on my cheeks, forehead and chin and trying another cream that didn't work, I went to Boots and asked for benzoyl peroxide cream and was given this. Within one day my cystic acne had disappeared, my pores had reduced in size and my pustules had decreased in size. When I first used Benzoyl Peroxide I was prescribed a face wash on prescription by my GP. I was warned that my skin would sting (this time I had no stinging) and there would be dry patches due to the Benzoyl Peroxide causing skin to shed. So I was told to use an oil free moisturiser. With this cream my routine is to wash my face with face wash, use small amounts of the cream on my face then after it's rubbed in use oil free moisturiser. If I'm going to work I then put on make up. My make up has sun screen other wise it's a case of staying out of the sun to avoid patchy skin. Due to it bleaching clothing I've changed to white bedding. The cream has an advantage over the face wash in that you don't risk bleaching towels and clothing washing it off. One thing I'm not sure about is the potassium hydroxyquinoline sulphate. Antiseptic creams don't work for my spots so this ingredient doesn't add anything to the mixture. Boots just gave me this because it was all they had in stock.

Pros:

Used it for a few days and my spots disappeared!

Cons:

My skin is really dry anyway but, the cream left it worse than ever. Really dry and flaky skin! And it really stings, but after a certain period of time applying, stinging decreases. Got it near my eyes once and they swell like balloons, so be careful!

Best spot treatment ever. Surprisingly cheap and most of all effective!

Pros:

Works well

Cons:

Really dries out your skin and makes it really red and itchy

Because it dries out your skin so quick you have to make sure you apply a lot of moisturiser. To be honest I found just washing my face when I woke up and before I went to bed with soap and water and using a flannel or wash cloth worked much better. My spots were gone within a few weeks and my skin wasn't red and itchy. Using quindoderm for a few weeks make my skin really uncomfortable and because I had to keep applying moisturiser made my skin even worse and I got more spots.

Pros:

???

Cons:

it makes them worse

my sons spots stayed the same when he was using it, so i said to him, just wash only with a sponge for a few days, it worked they started clearing up, so he put some cream on it, the next day he woke up with a spot bigger and really hurting

Pros:

Cheap
Works

Cons:

Bleaches clothes

I tried this after trying various salicylic acid combos with little success. This has an immediate effect. Skin was tighter, drier and acne was clearing. The only problem is that it bleaches clothes. I've had to toss out 3 t-shirts and two towels due to very obvious bleaching. Not a good thing if you're trying to keep your acne battles private

Pros:

works so well, makes all spots disappear! =)

Cons:

makes your skin a little dry until it gets used to the treatment.

I got mine from the doctor, so it cost nothing and it has really got rid of all my acne, face and shoulders.

Pros:

Attacks acne fervently, is probably the most efficient spot cream in the business.

Cons:

Results may decrease after a month of application.

Starts off well, but soon loses its spice.
