Pros:

Works beautifully on mild-moderate acne. (cystic acne too) I saw results almost immediately and have had one small pimple in the past three months of using this product. Cleanser has a light, agreeable scent.

Cons:

No sun screen, and the the scent of the lotion isn't to my liking. A bit drying if used too close to eye area.

This is an excellent product and highly recommend it!

Horrible
I had moderate acne only on my cheeks and chin(hormonal) this gave me deep cystic pimples all over my cheek and chin area and gave me breakouts all over my forehead. I gave up after two weeks. This only made things 10x worse. It also gave me dry patches on my neck where the product hit my skin

Pros:

The "time-released" 2.5% BP lotion with moisturizers is excellent. I've tried all sorts of combinations of BP lotions and moisturizers and this is the only one that doesn't irritate my skin. It does help to "control" my acne somewhat.

Cons:

All of the anti-DHT ingredients etc. to reduce oilyness is a load of crap. Good idea and all, but I'm still just as oily. The cleanser is too overdrying.

This product is essentially just an over-priced fancy BP lotion. Skip the cleanser and toner (buy something else cheaper) and just get the lotion for $25, they have a 60 day money-back guarantee. Within the first week this product really calmed down my breakouts; however, after that I saw no further improvement (its been over two months now). I tried going back to some other BP products, but soon realized how much I missed the Clearogen for how soothing, non-irritating it is and will continue to use the lotion. I have persistant moderate acne and I'm still just as oily as before and far from being clear. The bottom line is in most cases sorry, topicals alone are not going to clear you long-term unless you have very mild acne. Acne is only a symptom that something internally is out of whack (hormones, liver, digestion, food allergy, poor diet, etc). If you have a love-hate relationship with BP I'd definitely recommend this as the hate is a little less since it isn't as irritating.

unsure about the product
when i started using clearogen i got the one month three step system with the sulfur cream. At this time i was desperate for a quick fix as i was suffering from a major hormonal breakout. In the past i had suffered with mild to moderate acne vulgaris and had managed to treat it with over the counter creams and antibiotics. This breakout would not budge and got to the point that i had around 5 cysts on each cheek and several small pimples surrounding the cysts. I finished the 30 day trial and my skin was a lot better. I had around 10 small pimples on my face but for me that was the best my skin had looked in months and i was thrilled. My dermatologist them perscribed me with the benyzol peroxide cream and in the space of four days i had super irritated red cheeks with two cysts on one cheek and several dozen tiny bumps all over. It has been around a month since that initial breakout and my skin is relatively clear on one cheek but the other cheek still has a good 10 big pimples. I spoke to my dermatologist about the reaction as i received a chemical peel a week ago and she told me to start using the benyzol cream again. I am so nervous to try the product again as my acne has affected my mental health hugely. Does anyone have any advice for me?

skin reaction
my son just used if for 3 days. he has stopped using it because the mouth area where he applied the lotion has become reddish and painful. now he finds a little difficulty to open his mouth as though the skin is tight. he keeps saying it's painful.

Pros:

This product made me few a new woman. I had the most terrible time with acne, spots and blemishes.
Worked very quick, I bought two kits and one was enough.

Cons:

The only bad thing is: what shall I do with the other kit?, I now the acne is gone forever,
I recommend to buy one kit, even if they offer a price discount.

My skin improved substantially. The product really works wonder.

Pros:

This product is amazing!
Cleared up my acne better than anything i've used before...

Cons:

The anti-DHT ingredients are great...if use this product with zinc or omega 3-6-9 your skin will look awesome :)

Pros:

cleared up persistent acne better than anything ive used before, company seems genuinely interested in helping, products are nice to use

Cons:

quite pricey (more so for me cause i have to have it sent from the US) toner can be a bit drying. didnt reduce oily skin like i hoped

i had to hang on with product, in fact i almost gave up on it after a month and a half....but im glad i stuck with it, skin is so much better. the kit is only supposed to last a month but ive been using the same bottle of face wash and clearogen lotion for almost 4 months now (get through the toner alot faster tho) which kind of balances out the initial high cost. the big selling point of this product is that it is supposed to inhibit DHT and so reduce sebum production while also carrying ingredients that fight acne (B.P, salycilic acid). it didnt affect my oily skin at all (boo) but did eventually clear up my acne (yay)

Pros:

This is the best I've used yet. No irritation and it smells a lot better than any other acne treatment. The cleanser is amazing.

Cons:

The lotion doesn't smell the greatest.

Works great. No irritation, dryness, redness, anything. Quick results, smells good (except lotion. Lasts 2 months.
