Pros:

IT WORKS!!

Cons:

I agree w/the whole lotion/cleanser not being consistent.I heard that the formula changed so I'm thinking the old one might still be out there for now?

I am 29 years old and actually didn't start really breaking out until I was 22-23.I had VERY oily skin and got large pimples from the cheekbones down. I used to use products w/salicylic acid but they never worked very well (or at all to tell the truth). I have been using acnefree for 6 months and at first, it made my skin very flaky but I think that is why I used to break out so much. This went away after my second kit. I kept buying it because even though my skin was flaky it was working. Now I have no flakiness. Also I have noticed that my skin isn't as oily as it used to be. Overall I love this product because it worked for me. It probably won't work for everyone, acne is good like that, but for $18 it's worth a try!

Pros:

I did not have horrible acne but this stuff worked for breakouts. I use it religiously twice a day and had good results

Cons:

Took about 3 weeks to see a major difference.

I will continue to use it, since i have not broke out with anything for a long time.

Pros:

Face cleared up instantly, no new blemishes skin looks great.

Cons:

Skin burns alot and is uncomfortable for hours after use, but does not seem excessively dry and is not flaky. Burning might be better by using less quantity or less often. May need to use lotion.

I'm very happy with my results, although the burning is a pretty big setback. It's bad enough to the point where if I cannot find a remedy for the burning I will discontinue use of the product.

Pros:

it was cheap

Cons:

made me break out with smaller bumps that were noticable up close but got rid of large pimple break outs

havent used it long enough will update after a full mth of use. Does not give results in 3 days so hopefully things clear up after a mth. Have to give it a whirl since i paid for it!

Pros:

SO much better than ProActive, my skin is so sensitive and I haven't even turned red.

Cons:

It does make you break out more at first, because its drying everything out...so for the first two weeks you're probably gonna have some more pimples than normal.

After the first few days of more breakouts, your skin clears up. If you think your skin looks paler it's because of the dead skin cells being scrubbed off, and that means the toners doing its job. Wait it out, it's worth it! BUY AT TARGET...its much cheaper.

Pros:

CHEAP!! it worked well with my skin but ocasionally stoped working

Cons:

Very runny and doesnt always keep your face clear

Twice a day can be a little harsh

I was on Antibiotics for about 7 years and they did nothing to help my skin. I tried every topical cream and gel for acne, and nothing worked. I was skeptical about AcneFree because it seemed like it was just like anything else, but it was about the only thing on the shelf I hadn't tried, so I bought it. I could not believe that after about 15 years of struggling with moderately severe acne with NO results, something so cheap and simple could start to smooth my skin in TWO WEEKS. I cannot express how happy I am to have actually found something that works. After 15 YEARS! If I had the money I would order truckloads of this stuff and pass it out to anybody I see and make them use it because it is truly amazing. If you are anything like me, you will read this review and be skeptical and not try it because you won't believe that anything could possibly clear up your acne, but PLEASE give it a try. Whats the worst thing that could happen, it doesn't work? No biggie, because chances are that's not the first time you've tried something that hasn't worked. But if it does work for you... you will be so thankful. For the price it is worth a try. Granted, I have been using this for about 6 months now, my face cleared up well within 2 months. My skin is not perfect, and I still have scarring, but it has helped to control my acne better than anything before. There won't be a miracle product guaranteeing you will never have a pimple again, but this is about as close as it will get.

Pros:

A lot of people say it dries out their skin, but it made mine soft!
has a yummy scent

Cons:

None so far!

USE IT! I used Proactiv for 6 years and still struggled with bad skin. I'm 23 and got tired of fighting with it. I read somewhere that this stuff worked, so I tried it and wah-la! It has been wonderful so far. I recommend it to anyone who struggles with acne. I hope they never stop making it!

I only have been using it for about a week. My face already looks better. My acne is toning down. I am 23 and still have acne (unfortunatly) and it is a major insecurity for me because of my age. I ALWAYS wash my face morning and night and nothing works! Finally, I just focused on keeping my face clean and my acne will run it's course. I tried Acne Free recently and so far so good. You have to really keep up with it if you want it to work. I am hoping I wont be doing this much longer.

Pros:

gets rid of acne
gets rid of black heads
evens skin discoloration
reduces pore size
reduces oil
gives ph balance

Cons:

may bleach fabriques
may dry you a bit (without a moisturizer)
mayb make you more sensitive to the sun (just wear sunscreen with an spf at leasr 15 or more)

i used to have really bad acne since i was 11 years in grade 6 but when i turned 13 in grade 8 i bougth this because, my breakouts were so bad and i needed something to control them, so i bought this. it takes a few months for it to give you a the complete satisfaction, you just need to be patient, everyone's acne is different. for me it took 5 months to get the full affect. to combat the drying affect (if you have it) just simply use a good moisturizer. of course this product can make you sensitive to the sun because of the glyocolic acid and benzoyl peroxide so please do wear sunscreen at least 15 or more.
