well worth money, works great.

Pros:

It's not as expensive as other treatments and tt seems to work within a few days

Cons:

The face wash has a burns and the lotion has granules that scratch and dry up my skin.

I think it works better for people with oily skin because it's so drying. Some peope like it and some people don't.

Pros:

works within 2 weeks( results vary)

Cons:

drys out your skin, if you don't use some time of lotion with it

use it, works faster than proactive, and results are better. Not to mention its much more affordable if you're going to use this on a daily basis. Overall, I would say this product made my skin look a lot better in a shorter amount of time than I expecetd.

Pros:

Works--Fragrance Free--Available in most stores so you don't have to order online--all comes in one package

Cons:

I use this in conjunction with other products

I went through the torture of letting my face adjust to Dan's Regimen (a month of dry, peeling, red, puffy, painful skin) to realize that it improved my skin but still didn't prevent the nasty (moderate) cystic acne that I get. So, I decided that it would probably be a smooth transition to AcneFree because of the amounts of Benzoyl Peroxide. Best Decision Ever!! My face is actually clear! I'm on my third kit and I'm so pleased with the results. If Dan's regimen kind of worked but not enough, you should try AcneFree. One thing: i still use Dan's acne.org 2.5% BP cream at night instead of the AcneFree lotion (but i do use the AcneFree during the day). In the morning I use Walmart Brand of Olay Complete Moisturizer, and at night i use plain old aveeno lotion on my face. AcneFree really does work!!

Pros:

After using AcneFree for about a week, my minor acne (primarly sebacious) had improved QUITE bit. not only did the pimple dry at the spot (but only at the spot, not the surrounding area) but my blotchy complection has evened out alot!!

Cons:

the lotion is a little grainy once dried, but massaging your face gently with a towel afterwrdes helps. the toner stings a little, but is not bad as long as you are VERY CAREFULL NOT TO GET IT IN YOUR EYES!!

It is a great product that i will continue using. Also, you can get a 3-month supply at costco for only 30 dollars.

Pros:

Affordable
Controls Acne

Cons:

Leaves the skin very dry
No options for treating the scars

This product didn't work for me. Although it is pretty affordable when compared to other products yet it does lack many things such as to stop the re-occurance, scar removal after acne has dried out and the worst being excessive drying of the skin while using it. I feel proactiv is thousand times better than this product and is only a bit higher priced.

Pros:

Its affordable and works! Controls acne well, does have a drying affect but you can control that by using step 3 only once a day or every other day. You gotta find your combo if drying occurs.

Cons:

I wish hte package came with a real moisterizer w/spf protection. Cuz w/all acne meds sun exposure is heightened.. But I can deal.

I've been using for acne free for several years.. Yes, years.. I found it by accident at Walmart and it work immediatlely and I use it to this day. I've compared it to Proactive and it has stronger ingredients for half the price and no autoship scams.. I also love that you can now buy just the cleanser since that runs out the fastest. I hear some people complain about the dryness factor but it can be lessened by switching up step 3. Most people have breakouts due to oils or bacteria on there skin, so once that gets under control, you will have to find how much and when to use step 3 especially if you have hormonal breakouts then you know when to use it the most. I've recommended it to several family members and they love it too..

Pros:

completely got rid of my acne for 6 months

Cons:

became immune

i used the "severe" product starting in june, and within a day my skin had gotten so much better. it got rid of little bumps, and i didn't get a single cystic acne bump. around late december/early january it completely stopped working and my skin began reacting horribly to it. go ahead and get it though, hopefully it wont stop working!
February 8, 2008

Pros:

Affordable, works well

Cons:

Leaves my skin a little dry.

It takes a little while to work. Don't expect a miracle right out of the box. It took my skin about 3 weeks to be cleared up. I have never had really bad acne but certain areas would break out occationally.

Pros:

It controls my acne pretty well. I still get break outs around my period, but I guess that cannot be helped. I really like the severe regimen with the retinol complex. That stuff feels really good on my face without being greasy.

Cons:

Bleaches clothing and towels, leaves my skin looking dead and dry.

I have been using this stuff for about four months. AcneFree is a little stronger than proactiv, and definately is cheaper. Proactiv did not work for me at all. I like that I can run out and buy a bottle of the cleanser if I run out of it. I did switch out toners though; I use Estee Lauder's toner with it instead. It sucks I have to get the toner to get the retinol renewal complex, but it is still much less expensive than other acne treatments. It is the most effective treatment I have used over the counter to date. It is not perfect, but when you have been dealing with acne as long as I have (ten years), you get used to it I suppose.
