Pros:

Worked great for me! My acne was eliminated in about a week and my breakouts are now very few and far between. My skin is glowing now and I havn't had any problems with overdrying though I due use a oil free moisturizer daily.

Cons:

Must be careful with towels and fabris as far as bleaching but this was nothing new for me as I used Clean & Clear's Persagel alot in the past (too dryng - don't see me needing to use this now).

I have had trouble with moderate acne for almost 10 years with a breif 1 year intermision with Accutane. I was just about to try Pro-Active when I saw AcneFree at Wal-Mat and thought I would give it a try first. Very glad I did!

Pros:

the wash and toner really help if your skin agrees with the product

Cons:

huge allergy to benzoyl peroxide- swollen face and I could barely open my eyes. the face wash smells gross and bleaches your eyebrows and other facial hair (only plus for me). the lotion is super grainy, it also smells gross and EXTREMELY drying.

it worked initially before my skin decided that it was allergic to it. the lotion dried out my skin so much i had to stop using the system and i only used ponds cold cream to try to regain some moisture. i tried to go back on it after and my eyes totally swelled up. it was a nightmare!!!

Pros:

Works somewhat

Cons:

Makes my face feel oily, rough, and opens my pores to the point where have huge craters that were not there before using the product.

In the beginning the product was working but about 3 weeks into using it I was getting more acne and my face was feeling rough with huge open skin pores. I just thank god I was able to get rid of the craters, but the product may work for others it just was not right for me.

Pros:

really cleared up the few acne spots i had.

Cons:

the fragrance.

i had tried everything out there, except proactive because i do not want to join a club. i saw results in a matter of days and my skin is much smoother. i will use again.

Pros:

Works fast, not harsh. Very affordable and can get at local store

Cons:

None

I have been using this product for going on three years. I had terrible acne and looked like a pizza face. It has completely cleared my skin up I have tried proactiv and it didn't work as well and cost more. Works great!

Pros:

The price, the results, I LOVE IT!

Cons:

Wearing the repair lotion under my make-up makes my make-up "run" toward the end of my work day, but I do have oily skin so...

I have tried EVERYTHING from ProActive, prescriptions, glycolic peels, blah. this stuff really works. Stick with it. It will burn if you have sensitive skin, but give your skin time to "get used to it". I always joked that I would pay anything to get the top layers of my skin lasered (or burned off) for a new start, so I'll take a little burning and stinging.

Pros:

Less Expensive than Proactiv

Cons:

Consistency of product is horrible. Repair lotion is watery and gritty. Cleanser seems cheap too. Doesn't smell great. Drys skin out too much.

Spends a little more to get the stuff that actually works...Proactiv! It's much better quality and you can usually get a good deal on QVC.

Pros:

It gives hope to those with acne.

Cons:

I wish it would work for me, but it just doesn't. I have been using it religously twice a day for a month, hoping that one day I will not have any new breakouts.

I breakout daily and don't know what's wrong with me. Acne Free hasn't helped. My face kind of burns and is very dry from the product, I use a spf moisturizer in addition. The benzoyl peroxide lotion is very thin straight from the bottle but does not spread on the face very smoothly. I think I have given it a fair shot and will stop using it as soon as I find something else to try.

Pros:

fast (few weeks), cleared it up well

Cons:

excessive drying and peeling

wow. i've been using proactiv for a month now, and for me, it doesn't do anything. I switched from acne free but this thing works like a charm. the lotion is actually moisturizing, not drying, and its really quite wonderful.
