Pros:

Easy to use and carry. Cleared up some pimples and made my skin smoother after just one day. Smell is tolerable and it even smells clean!

Cons:

Makes my face red at first, burns a little. Makes my face a bit greasy, but it's easy to handle.

Definitely recommended for anyone who has moderate acne and pimples. It works really well and once you get past the cons, you'll see your face clearing up. I love it!

Pros:

affordable, no scent.

Cons:

made my face greasy, worse in a couple of days of use.

I bought it because my acne was starting to act up & it basically got worse within the first 4 days of using it. The lotion makes my face greasy all day.

Pros:

The price is very affordable, kits sometimes include BONUSES, available in face wash aisle at the store, so NO shipping and handling fees and IT WORKS!

Cons:

STEP 3 - Repair Lotion stings some days, but not all the time.

I had really bad acne that I tried to ignore for a long time because in my head my skin was perfect. It wasn't until I started taking clear pictures of myself for my Myspace page that I realized "HOLY CRAP! There's ugly pimples all over my face!" I stumbled upon AcneFree Severe at Target in September 2008 and it was on sale for $19, so I gave it a try. I didn't think it would work because A) it was cheap, B) nothing else had worked, C) it seemed too good to be true. But it was. I noticed a difference in my skin the very next day after I used the Retinol the night I bought the kit. After a month... WHOA! My skin was as clear as it had been in high school. Every now and then I'll break out sometimes, but it's not all over my face like it was before and my skin looks so much younger. I only break out because I start feeling too confident and worry-free that I start eating all these bad foods, so you still have to watch what you eat to see the full results. I RECOMMEND IT!!!

Pros:

You can buy it at the store. A little bit more affordable than ProActiv.

Cons:

The time release benzoyl peroxide lotion left my skin feeling oily and greasy all day. It didn't help my whiteheads or blackheads at all.

This product works as well as ProActiv which means it didn't really work at all. It's nice that you don't get charged every month for the product, but it really left my skin feeling greasy all day.

Pros:

relatively inexpensive, fragrance free, gentle compared to some BP treatments, less staining/irritating than some BP treatments

Cons:

packaging may be wasteful (esp. lotion bottle), not enough toner provided per package

I use the normal kit. The facewash I use day and night. In the morning I also use the toner and repair lotion, which is perfect for day use. At night I use stronger stuff: witch hazel with a few drops tea tree oil as toner, and 10% BP cream (Persagel). This way I save up on the toner and lotion, which are less abundant compared to the facewash. I was at my wits' end a few months ago, and ready to seek clinical treatments, but this routine has cleared things up amazingly. Persistence and routine is absolutely key. I try never to skip an application. I will still get a tiny pimple here and there, but the Persagel takes care of it within a day, max. The Acnefree face wash is great; I formerly used Clean & Clear 10% BP wash and Oxy 10% BP, but both were really strong and my eyes quickly developed allergies to them. I think the key is not the strength of the facewash, but the strength of the cream/lotion used afterward. Toner is important to even out skin tone and as an astringent.

Pros:

It mitigates moderate to severe acne on my face. As long as I use it it keeps acne in control.

Cons:

It only mitigates but does not clear my face. I have finished 1 full package. It did not clear my face. After a week from I stopped using it after about 3 months or so acne started coming back on my face.

Give it a try. I paid 19 bucks.

Pros:

this treatment really actually cleared up my skin in less then 5 days, although my skin is relatively dry from the lotion it eventually was rehydrated, my skin is smoother, less red, feels very clean, and most of my acne is gone, all within five days.

Cons:

AcneFree isi very powerful an dseverely driend my skin out in the beginning, it also smells bad but people who would take the smell over the overall effectivness of the roduct are wrong, it also did't completely take my acne away, which i had hoped.

Basically, i've tried so many products, Murad, Proactiv, Clearisil, and even the Neutrogena Wave and found this the most effective. even though the smell is pretty bad and in the beginning is very dring to the skin, it really works. I have very sensitive skin and so it is really scary for me to try a new product because all the ones i've used irritate my skin, but i just used the normal AcneFree recommended to me by a friend and just followed the easy instructions, within 5 days my skin was almost cleared and softer then ever. For those of you who have sensitive or norma skin with mild acne i recommend the normal kit, and those of u who have severe acne i recommend th eSevere Acne Free Kit, i hope i was of some help.

Pros:

very nice feeling afterwords, nice smell, and somewhat works.

Cons:

Not very quick results, time consuming.

Eh, it's by far a not good product. Im not seeing those results, and new zits come up.. so idk.
July 24, 2009

Pros:

Skin feels clean, got rid of some pimples.

Cons:

brought more pimples to the surface, did not get rid of my blackheads, burns when washing.

I wouldnt use this, spend your money on other acne products. There are definitely affordable acne products like Proactiv or Murad. Personally, i've found proactiv to work the best.

Pros:

my skin feels smooth and clean after use. no dramatic changes in getting rid off my acne but can defintley see a difference.

Cons:

doesnt completley stop my new breakouts.

it works, but needs consistentsy.
