Pros:

clears up acne

Cons:

maximum strength is not necessarily the best

I used the AcneFree Severe for about a week and a half. At first it felt nice, and my acne actually cleared up quite a bit. However, the 10% benzoyl peroxide is a bit too much for your skin, and after a week it was red and I had a skin rash all over. My friends asked me why my face was so red and I didn't know what to say. It was so flaky! Maybe if I kept using it my skin would get used to it, but for now I'm stopping.

Pros:

Step 4 smells nice and the bottles are eye catching.

Cons:

The steps were unclear, the smell. I had a very hard time looking for the directions on each bottle. My skin was and still is irritated and itchy.

This product isn't for me. I've used this for about 3 weeks. Nothing good happened. My acne has actually gotten worse and my skin is beginning to peel.

Pros:

None

Cons:

This product was horrible. It made my skin red, dry, shiny, and my acne was much worse. My skin felt tight and suffocated.

This product never worked for me. I've found that some acne products will make your acne a little worse in the beginning and then clear it up well. But AcneFree never helped my skin. It was awful. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Pros:

works pretty well, easy to use

Cons:

burns skin, causes severe dryness and flakiness, takes a while after first use to start working

It's a good product but use really carefully around your eyes, mouth and nose

Pros:

Great alternative to Pro-Active
works the same and you get even more !
However, you need to use it EVERYDAY for the full effects

Cons:

None.

Dont pay $$$ for pro active. this will work just fine !

Pros:

Price (no more expensive than other face washes when you look at monthly), doesn't dry out skin (b/c it has a moisturizer), and it doesn't have the bad effect that Proactiv does if you miss a day.

Cons:

Nothing except it has 3 steps, but that doesn't make it take longer, I'm just a little lazy :)

I bought the Costco 3 MONTH supply and have been using it for about 3 weeks. It's been awesome so far! I get deep blemishes, not really ever whiteheads or blackheads, and this has cleared them up completely! I've heard if you use proactiv your skin freaks out if you miss a day, but this doesn't cause that. It's easy to use, and it WORKS. Obviously, it's not for everyone. I have combination skin, not overly dry or oily, so my skin hasn't really dried out or anything like others' have. I also normally have a lot of redness around my nose and on either side (have my whole life), and my skin tone has evened out BIG time. Overall, very happy!

Pros:

It improved the quality of my skin. My skin is naturally oily, and it helped control this.

Cons:

It did not help clear up any of my acne. I saw no improvement whatsoever after two weeks of regular use. In fact, if anything, I saw more blackheads appear on my face after.

AcneFree did control the quality of my skin and I also saw less redness and rosatia. However, it failed to perform the job that it had advertised. My skin has just as many blackheads and pimples as it did before I started using this product. In fact, I counted three more infected places on my face that were not there before I started using this product. If you would like to control the amount of oil and redness on your face, then AcneFree is the product for you! If you would like for your face to actually clear itself of impurities, then use something else other than this system.

Pros:

It works if you use it every day!

Cons:

Cheaper than proactive but still not cheap. The repair lotion will bleach your towels, clothes and pillows. The pros outweight the cons.

I used to buy Proactive. It cost too much and they sent it to me before I was done with the last batch and kept charging my credit card. I started using Acne Free because I saw that it had the same basic ingredients. It works great, especially if you use it every day. I only use the face wash and then the repair lotion and don't use the toner. I have to put on good moisturizer after the repair lotion dries.

Pros:

cheap, you can buy it when you run out (unlike proactive charging your account when you didnt even fully use the first shipment yet and you end up with a bazillion treatment products), simple process,

Cons:

havent experience any dryness that everybody is complaining about.

i dont have too much acne but when i flared up it would seem to come all at one time. This product has helped to subdue the flare ups and even prevented them. It also evened out my skine tone. Where i had dark spots (due to popping my pimples) it cleared it and balanced out my skin tone. proactive worked for me, so does this product but i do like the fact thats its more affordable. unlike proactive being almost $50 after the promotion you get.
