Pros:

Works well, easy to use, works quickly, lasts long, etc.

Cons:

May get worse before it gets better.

Its a good product, really, but only for certain skin types. This product does NOT work on oily skin; a friend of mine has oily skin and this product didn't do such a great job. But I had moderate acne (hardly any now) and I think AcneFree is excellent! It doesn't burn my skin, it lasts a looooonnnnngggggg time (I've had it for about 6 months, used twice a day, only half is gone), and it clears up the skin and keeps it that way. Of course I still get acne on occasion, but, hello, TEENAGER. I can honestly say this is a great product for the right skin type, and it is really worth the money.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Dries, irritates & burns the skin.

I tried Acne Free because the ad stated you can compare it to ProActiv and the price was great. This product dried my skin out (I have very oily skin), irritated it and made by skin feel like it was constantly burning. I've been using ProActive for 10yrs (love it), you can't compare the two.

It doesn't do anything for my acne, it smells bad, and the toner dries out my face.

Pros:

it seems to work pretty well. keeps my acne relatively controlled

Cons:

still get occasional breakouts. benzoyl peroxide causes bleaching of towels, pillow cases.

i will buy this again. i never had any problems of irritation from the acne free system (which some other people have referred to here). it does keep acne in check for the most part for me. the bleaching of benzoyl peroxide is the main downside i see.

Pros:

Dried up acne

Cons:

Dried and burned my face.

I bought Acnefree after years of using Proactiv with great results. I am not "allergic to Benzoyl peroxide". This stuff is just that harsh. I started by following the directions and after I had purple skin. I decided to use the cleanser just once a day. Still even after watering the product down my face is red and burning. This is not a good way to save a buck. I am on my way to pick up more Proactiv. This stuff is getting thrown out!! After reading MANY reviews now seeing that I am not the only one with dry, hurting skin, I am angry at my wasted efforts.

Pros:

Low price

Cons:

Cleared up some acne at first, then I started breaking out like never before in my life. I stopped breaking out when I stopped using it. It's HORRIBLE.

This actually seemed to CAUSE more pimples. I stopped using it and switched to Persa Gel 10 and now I'm totally clear.

Pros:

This product really helped my face clear up, when used correctly and consistently, it did wonders for my face, neck, chest and shoulders (when needed on body).

Cons:

Burning sensations can be severe - not sure what triggers this (make-up reaction, medication, etc - but burning is rare. Great skin but sometimes flare-ups occur around menstrual cycle. Time consuming & hate parts not sold individually for resale.

Great results. I just don't like they are sold in boxes as kits - I use more of the wash because I use it on my neck and body at times, but not necessarily the other products. I ran out of astringent first, and was upset I could not buy additional bottles but a whole other kit. This highly annoyed me. I noticed if you are not consistent with exactly how they tell you to use the products, you get mis-happened results (break outs, flaking, burning, etc). I would highly recommend to get rid of acne - if that is what you have this will surely clear it up, no bones about it. Which is what I want. Some things are inconvenient but any other acne treatment is going to have the same requirements. Sometimes I get the burning sensation bad around the sensitive areas under my eyes and it lasts a good 6 hours after application. I am not sure what triggers this or when I apply makeup after product I get some there and it reacts with my concealer, etc...

Pros:

Quick results, lasting results, does not smudge off with makeup on top, time released, helps hormonal acne

Cons:

Lotion is a bit gritty

*I use the Severe Kit in the Orange bottles. I have had bad hormonal acne since I was 13. I'm now in college and I was desperate to seek a product that actually worked. As an estimate, I would say that my mom and I have spent about $3000 trying to "cure" my acne. Anything from Accutane, Proactiv, peels, facials, Benzaclyn, Differin Gel, Retin-A, you name it, I've tried it. This product isn't super harsh on your skin, and it actually cleared up pock marks on my skin from years of acne. My family and friends all ask what I've been using and it is honestly the best product on the market. I can still wear makeup on top of it, even in the heat of South Florida, and not worry about the product caking up. This is honestly a god-send. I tell everyone I see with acne about this product. I'm a true believer. Ps. Get it at Target, It's sometimes on sale, and comes with a bonus spot treatment for cysts at no extra cost!

Pros:

This product has no pros for me.

Cons:

This product cant match up to proactive. I have undone all the good that proactive has done over the years just trying to save a few dollars. This product has given me ichy red nots all over my body, and it clears up only to come back in a month.

All I have to say is stay far away from this product. The money that you save is not worth it. Proactive may be a few dollars more but it works with zero side effects.
