Pros:

It starts working overnight and once it dries it's hardly noticable in texture or smell.

Cons:

I have slight skin sensitivity in the sun.

For the price it's a deal. I have tried Proactive and expensive laser treatments and nothing has worked this well before. If you have tried everything and nothing has worked then for $20 give this a try.

Pros:

clears up cysts, and severe acne...smells okay..works way better than proactive

Cons:

may dry your face, but with common sense you'll buy an oil free (non pore clogging) face moistur.

I even had laser surgery..have taken accutane and other antibiotics```````````````...used proactive for a long time (rip-off i must say) and i have NEVER seen results like acnefree has givin me...man i saw results the next morning...after 2 weeks i was completely clear (except some mild scars...but im going to buy the pockmark filler from acnefree)...i had cystic acne...pretty sever stuff i must say,,,and really embarrasing...I would totally lick the feet of whoever made this product...your a hero man...seriosuly...you saved my life from humiliation THE KEY IS TO BE CONSISTENT..even if u get some drying..DONT STOP JUST KEEP TRYING..if you see NO RESULTS in 8 weeks..than try somethin else like pro-active i guess...but you need the VITAMINS IN THE RETINOL!

Pros:

you can get it at Walmart fo $14.

Cons:

The face wash doesn't have enough granules in it to exfoliate well. The acne lotion made my face EXTREMELY greasy.

The manufactures of this product claim that it works better than Proactiv. I used Acne Free for 4 months, then decided to spend the extra money on Proactiv. Proactiv works MUCH better, smells better, and feels better than Acne Free. It takes about 2 weeks to see significant results, but much worth the wait, and money. Be sure to use a non-comedogenic, oil free moisturizer after the repairing lotion or your skin will get dry and produce more sebum (oil).

Pros:

The price was great and it seemed to help a little.

Cons:

I couldn't use it in the morning because it made my skin really oily and shiny.

I think that the product may work for people with drier skin, but my skin is normally somewhat oily and then when I used this my face looked disgusting. Just really oily and shiny, but I did notice a little acne was clearing up but I'd rather have a few more zits than my face be extremely oily.

Pros:

Available everywhere
only $14 at target
works very well

Cons:

does not work in 3 days, but after a week my skin was clear!

I would recomend this item to anyone dealing with bad acne. I have used alot of products that would work for a while but then my skin would just go back the way it was. Recently I got off of birth control and so my skin got out of control. Now my skin is great! I should have got this stuff a long time ago! I bought it at Target for only $14 dollars. Give it about a week before you make your final deciction.

Pros:

nothing at all!

Cons:

first couple days it was fine, no drastic change, i just thought it was descent oil-free toner and a lotion but my 5th day of using it, i got an allergic reaction! My face had red spots all over and my skin was super super dry.

please think again before using this product. all this does is make your skin really dry taking all the moisture away even the ones that you need. I ve been off acnefree for four days now and my skins are still itchy, burning, and flakeing..

Pros:

It starts working within the first week. I have noticed my active-new pimples are already gone, and the ones that I have had forever are starting to clear. It is easy to use, and the directions are very clear.

Cons:

The wash, to me, seems to have an akward number of scrubbling beads, and, the day-cream seems extremely gritty, but other than that, nothing.

Hey. It works for me. That is what matters, right? You won't lose anything by trying it!

Pros:

- It works!
- Pleasant fragrance
- Makes skin feel 10x healthier after using it for a few weeks

Cons:

- Made me break out a bit more during the first week
- Dries skin out at first

I've been using the Acne Free Severe system for 3 weeks now and have seen a noticeable difference in my skin. True, it did make me break out a little more at first (I've heard most regimens do) and my skin was a little flaky, but my skin feels so much softer and healthier now (I think the retinol renewal complex is to thank for that). Almost all of my pimples are gone, and only 1 or 2 have formed since beginning the 2nd week of treatment. Even those that have formed are quick to recede after a day or so; I've also used Neutrogena's Rapic Clear Spot Treatment on these lone pimples, so maybe that has something to do with the quick healing time as well. I figure a few more weeks of use will tell me if this really is a "miracle" treatment...so far, I've been very pleased with the results!
