Pros:

Clears the skin quickly and consistently. For severe acne it reduces it greatly, while for normal acne it can create perfect skin. Pores are minimized and redness is reduced. I've never had skin this clear.

Cons:

You have to be consistent.

This is the best product I've ever used, and I've used MANY products. My skin is not perfect, but it is closer than its ever been and I feel beautiful. I've used it for a a month and on my teenage skin it still works.

Overall, I'd say that this works. It's definitely worth the money. I use the 3 step system twice a day. I would say that with the face wash, toner and moisturizer it has cleared up my skin quite a bit. However, I still have random zits popping up here and there. As previous reviews have stated, the moisturizer can be pretty drying (which shouldn't be surprising; having Benzoyl Peroxide in any product will tend to dry out your skin). I've been using this product a little over a month now. I'm pretty happy with the results, but once the product runs out I'd like to try another system. I would definitely come back to this if another system isn't better. I will also add that occasionally I don't use the toner and rarely forget to use the lotion.

Pros:

Clears up skin pretty good. I thought it was just another bogus package, but i just started it about five days ago and about half my face is clearing.Good pricing too.

Cons:

Takes too long to show results. It''s proably take me three months to get the clear skin, but i can see results.

IT WORKS.

Pros:

This product Definately cleared my acne!!
And not only is it VERY Affordable But you get tons of product in one purchase.

Cons:

Drys your skin out - Must use a moisterizer

Well Bottom line i love this product! Of course there are some minor issues such as the drying or roughening of the skin, but for $15 im not complaining. Before using this product i had tons of tiny oily red bumps all over my forehead and nose. All other over the counter treatments did NOTHING, and i was skeptical about going down the Proactive route. After using acnee free severe for 1 week My acnee was Gone. CONSISTANCY IS KEY! Also when the product began to dry my skin out I reduced my usage of the scrub to 1 time a day and incorperated my own moisterizer after using the toner and the max strength repair lotion (morning) Also i find step 4 useless :]

Pros:

Helped a lot

Cons:

Took over 3 weeks to do it

I am 24 and my acne came back with a vengeance, I've been in and out of dermatologists for years earlier in life and been on everything under the sun. My acne ended up coming back real bad about month and a half ago and I ended up picking this up as I never really gave benzoyl peroxide a chance. My acne got a lot worse at first but it finally stated working well and now I am happy with it. A lot cheaper than seeing a dermatologist and spending money on prescriptions.

Pros:

leaves skin feeling great. clears pimples

Cons:

takes longer than 3 days as advertised

works well if used consistantly. not recomended for sensitive skin. but for others (like me) it works great!

Pros:

Smells good, improves skin texture and appearance dramatically after a short time, clears up existing pimples very quickly, cheaper than competitors

Cons:

Takes many applications to clear up blackheads and deep cyst-like acne, stings a bit, can be hard on sensitive skin

I've read some of these reviews, and it seems to me the bottom line is DON'T GIVE UP RIGHT AWAY. BP kills the bacteria that causes acne, but it can't kill it if it can't get to it. You have to allow the system time to clear the pores--time to work. As for the bleaching of towels, my suggestion would be to buy a couple of cheap white hand towels to use to dry your hands and face after using the product. No big deal. Small price to pay for clearer skin. Also, I always make sure to pat on a non-comedogenic lotion after step three--as the bottle itself suggests. I did have a problem, though, because I had a lot of breakouts on my neck, and initially used all three steps it, which resulted in a horrifyingly painful and red rash. I can see how someone with very sensitive skin would react badly to this product. Make sure if you buy it you at least use it until it's gone before making a decision. All things take time.

Pros:

This product is less expensive and it dries up pretty fast and doesn't leave that sticky feeling on my skin.

Cons:

None

I have been using this for about a year now and it's pretty good in my opinion. I used lots of product before including Proactiv. In fact I was using Proactiv when I started breaking out in little pimples all over my face and decided to switch to AcneFree which helped clear them up. I don't break out that often and there are times when my face would be clean for months but then would suddenly starting forming huge ones that take about a week to heal. It's pretty much the same with every kind of acne products I have used. AcneFree does help keep those small ones off my face though so that's definitely a plus.
