Pros:

Results in a day. Mosturizes my skin.

Cons:

It doesn't smell so great. YOU HAVE TO USE IT TWICE A DAY.

My parents bought it thinking it was ProActIv since it said it on the box. But it was ACNEFREE!!! YAY!!! When I started using it, I had like 3 swollen red zits on my forehead. But after I used it like only ONCE, the zits flatenned and it's not unnoticeable. Theres a scar but its light because of the Toner thing that evens your skintone. It mosturizes my face to tell you the truth. I'm not sure why it dries out other peoples' faces. I'm loving it so far.

Pros:

It works! leaves skin feeling really soft. Prevents new acne from forming.

Cons:

If you wash really fast and use the renewing tone and lotion fast it will leave your skin really red and a little itchy. So, yes, it IS time consuming, but it's worth it.

It's an excellent product, if youre willing to take the time. Follow the directions closely. and definitely use a seperate lotion after to prevent dryness. You may not see results right away, but they will happen and it's nice :) just be patient and keep up with it

Pros:

I seen improvement instantly, I was really starting to become happy with my fac.

Cons:

I used the project just about 20 minutes ago, and now my face is burning and peeling/flakey. Im not sure that it's workng anymore.

I wouldn't use this if you have sensitive skin. I really didn't think that I had sensitive skin, but now that im using this im starting to think I do. Like I said, I seen results instantly, but now this burning is killing me! I' used to use Neutrogina GrapeFruit wash, along with many other simple acne treatments, and this has never happened to me before! I have pretty bad acne on my right cheek, and besides that I only get like 4 or 5 zits a month. I tried to eliminate them completely, but I obviously shouldn't have messed with them.

Pros:

Clears skin with consistent use, exfoliates and believe it rids of bacteria

Cons:

slightly drying especially in winter- may benefit from additional oil free moisturizer, takes a while to see results- would recommendend sticking with it for at least 4-6 wks before giving up

i used the acnefree severe system (orange box) the reviews seemed better. tried many treatments from drugstore to higher end dept. store and endorsed well-known products. this has been most consistent for me, but had to be patient and wait at least a month before seeing more consistent results. skin often has to adapt to a new treatment. breakouts may get slightly worse at first, but be patient (i know it's hard) try it worked for me

Pros:

It works, price is right, easy to follow instructions.

Cons:

None, if you read and follow all instructions.

I am 33 years old and have had acne on my chin for years. This stuff made it clear after 2 weeks of use. I have sensitive skin, so I use the product only at night. Step 3 can cause drying, but if you follow with a moisturizer like the instructions advise, the dryness will clear. I prefer Complex 15.

Pros:

It does help if use propely

Cons:

itchy redness appers but can be cure with cortozine or other anti -itch and must use 2 times everyday

just remember to rinse face with step one but use cotton with step 2 and 3 without rinse and it does not burn and the smell is not bad. It curing speed depend on how early you treat the acne area.

Pros:

starts working immediately, not greasy, cleans skin well and reduces oily skin in the T-Zone.

Cons:

The smell is kind of rough to take and my remaining acne is really red immediately after use, but the redness goes away within 5 minutes or so.

I have used other acne treatments in the past, and AcneFree is definitely one of the better ones I've found (so far, anyways). I haven't had any of the redness or irritation that the other users complain of... However, the box AND the step 3 bottle both recommend that you follow up the system with a moisturizer, which I've done. I don't know if that makes a difference? I haven't used ProActiv, so I can't compare the 2 but I am happy with AcneFree and would suggest that you at least give it a try.

Pros:

It's affordable and it has cleared some of the acne along my forehead.

Cons:

It is labeled on the product that it has a tendency to bleach garments and that's no lie. I stopped using it at night, because I noticed that my colored pillow cases were fading. I had no problem with that when I used Proactiv

The product is ok, but I can't give it two thumbs up.

Pros:

i love this product (acnefree SEVERE)! i had pretty severe acne and now its very light and almost unnoticable.

Cons:

takes longer than three days to work.
got worse before it got better

the acnefree severe line is amazing. i really thing the fourth retinol step is what makes everything come together. at first putting the products on my face stung, but now after 3 weeks of use i don't feel it anymore, but i still see improvement in my face. use an oil free moisturizer afterwards so your face isn't too dry. also, try to exfoliate a couple times a week as your skin is peeling and it helps to get all the dry skin off to reveal a new, smoother face.

Pros:

I could see serious improvements within only 3 weeks. The 3 step kit works well. Couldn't really smell anything that people said it had.

Cons:

Drys your skin to no end, but if you follow right up with the toner it doesn't matter.

Great product. The first week after using it, the cleanser would dry my face and look really light but after applying the toner all the little red spots that were brought up from my old scars and just red bumps. But after about 3 weeks I started to see less and less of those bumps which is really cool and satisfying. I read reviews that said it doesn't work and was afraid it would have the same effect but I'm very happy with it. I'm using this and Tetracycline and my face is defiantly clearing up. :)
