Pros:

Quick results, lasting results, does not smudge off with makeup on top, time released, helps hormonal acne

Cons:

Lotion is a bit gritty

*I use the Severe Kit in the Orange bottles. I have had bad hormonal acne since I was 13. I'm now in college and I was desperate to seek a product that actually worked. As an estimate, I would say that my mom and I have spent about $3000 trying to "cure" my acne. Anything from Accutane, Proactiv, peels, facials, Benzaclyn, Differin Gel, Retin-A, you name it, I've tried it. This product isn't super harsh on your skin, and it actually cleared up pock marks on my skin from years of acne. My family and friends all ask what I've been using and it is honestly the best product on the market. I can still wear makeup on top of it, even in the heat of South Florida, and not worry about the product caking up. This is honestly a god-send. I tell everyone I see with acne about this product. I'm a true believer. Ps. Get it at Target, It's sometimes on sale, and comes with a bonus spot treatment for cysts at no extra cost!

Pros:

Great Price. Works Well.

All and all an AMAZING PRODUCT.

Cons:

??????? Can't find any yet BUT I used to use proactive and then it didn't work as well after a while... so only time will tell.

I've tried EVERYTHING over the counter and perscription. This product is AMAZING. I didn't buy the prepack (like proactive) I bought the facewash and the spot treatment. Since it's winter my face is dry but I just put a think layer of lotion on at night. My skin is GLOWING and people have commented about it and as everyone knows... doesn't happen when you have had acne all your life! I'm just hoping that this product continues to work for me. I used Proactive for 6 months and I thought it worked great as well but eventually stopped.

Pros:

Inexpensive, easy to purchase, works

Cons:

None

I'm a middle aged adult with mild acne issues until I visited the ocean and had a bad breakout. I used this product for the first time and it cleared up my skin within a week and then just kept on working, clearing up problems I didn't even realize were there until they were gone. My pores are smaller, my skin is smooth and looks great. I get compliments all the time. For those with dry skin issues, don't skimp on oil-free moisturizer after using Acne Free (am and pm) and you shouldn't have any problem.

Pros:

smoother, less oily skin

Cons:

Step two is too drying, so I skip this step
Breakout if not used so its recommended to keep using it all the time.

Works well on clearing up my acne and does prevent cystic pimples from appearing. The first week my skin did breakout a bit more but that just shows its working. All it takes is time and more pleasing results. Its faster if you apply more BP. Best if u apply moisturizer afterwards, no dry skin =]

Pros:

AFFORDABLE, FRAGRANCE FREE, IT WORKS

Cons:

NONE

I AM 37 YEARS OLD AND HAVE DEALT WITH ACNE SINCE I WAS 17. I WENT ON THE BIRTH CONTROL PILL WHICH HELPED BUT I GAINED WEIGHT. I TRIED PROACTIV WORKED FOR AWHILE A THEN THE ACNE CAME BACK. I REALIZED IT WAS THE FRAGRANCE IN THE ACNE WASHES THAT TRIGGERED MY BREAKOUTS. I LOOK ALL OVER FOR PRODUCTS THAT HAD ACNE FIGHTING INGREDIENTS BUT NO FRAGRANCE AND I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING!! UNTIL ACNE FREE!! THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. I MAY GET ONE OR TWO THE WEEK BEFORE MY PERIOD BUT THAT IS IT. I USE IT TWICE A DAY AND THEN I USE MARY KAY FRAGRANCE FREE MOISTURIZER AFTERWARDS. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

Pros:

Cleared my severe acne. I no longer have any skin issues other than past acne scarring

Cons:

Need to follow up with a moisturizer, otherwise too drying. I use "cera ve" from walgreens and its amazing.

This last year has been a nightmare for me with my skin. cystic acne was horrible. I tried EVERYTHING, microdermabrasion, OCM, proactive, dans regimine, sensiclear, all over the counter products, organic everything, neutrogena, chemical peels, only water, eat only raw foods, drink only water, prescription drugs, detox, smoothies, apple cider vinegar and green tea. My face would clear up for a few days them massively break out again. I follow up the 3 steps with cera ve moisturizer. I read the reviews on here and it was the best $12 spent. This morning I looked in the mirror and thought to myself...god thank for finding something that works. I do not have ANY blemishes. Please try it with the moisturizer. Hope someone elses life changes from it too!

Pros:

it treats and prevents, it never made my skin ridiculously dry, and it just works!

Cons:

I tend to run out of the facewash before the toner/lotion, so I end up having to throw it out.

I tried a lot of cheaper drugstore remedies before this, and NOTHING worked. This made my skin clear up, and my whole face looked better within a few weeks. I tried using neutrogena stress control acne stuff recently to save on expenses, and I broke out SO bad! I'm stuck using it but it's amazing!

Pros:

AcneFree has been incredible for me. I seen a dermatologist for 5 years, tried ProActiv for 5 months and nothing has given me the results that AcneFree has. For once in my life I'm confident about my skin.

Cons:

Nothing

If you not only want to clear up your acne but want overall better skin and can't afford a dermatologist or one of the more expensive treatments, then go to Wal-Mart and buy AcneFree. You won't regret it. I definatly haven't. Actually I would recommend trying AcneFree before even thinking about trying anything else. I could of saved alot of money if I would have.

Pros:

Made my skin smooth, and most importantly, acne free. It is truly a miracle product

Cons:

Somewhat tedious

It is an effective acne medication that, when used properly, will eventually stop breakouts. Everyone out there who attempts to use the product for a few days or complains that it makes them break out even more is most likely ignorant about the process of eliminating acne. Yess!!! It will make the acne worse for the first weeks or so. It is drawing up all the hidden residue and bacteria from the pores and pulling it to the surface. Then, once those pimples go away, your face will be clear. Make sure you use the products as directed. I have never had clear skin and this is the only product that has made my face completely clear. Don't be discouraged AND use your own moisturizer (the acne lotion is not the same as a moisturizer).

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling clean, affordable, wipes out pimples, y

Cons:

I wish it would heal acne scarring.

Bottom line: This product works! I swear I had the WORST acne in the history of acne. Im 19 years old and i've had acne since I was around 14 years old, non-stop. I've tried everything including Proactiv, which did not seem to work for me. But after using Acne Free for about 3 or 4 weeks CONSISTENTLY, my skin was almost completely clear of any pimples. Also, I love the fact that you can buy the big bottles of the product at Costco for only about $27 and it lasts for about 2 months.
