Pros:

Initially Clears up skin

Cons:

After long-term use, does'nt work as good as before

If you have a light case of acne, AcneFree will be more effective. My skins' still super oily (especially when I use step 2) and it makes my face red.

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling smoother and more even looking.

Cons:

Dries skin, tightness (most acne treatments do this).

From what I've seen so far in the reviews, obviously results vary; logically depending on skin type. I have large pores and oily acne prone skin. My acne type is blackheads and white postules -modorate-. it is called "comedonic acne". The severity of my acne depends almost completely on hormonal balance (which is normal in women), and stress levels. I was not expecting anything to work, honestly, but Acnefree has made a difference for me. My does look much smoother. I would recommend trying it before discarding (unless skin is particularly sensitive.. in this case a softer option is better... you don't need more irritation).

Pros:

my skin was less oily, and my zits went away

Cons:

i got this nasty red rash all over my neck and face. it was way itchy, and didn't go away for a week

don't use it if you have sensitive skin. if you do use it, i would use it once a day, rather than the recommended two to three times.

Pros:

I've only been using it for about a week, and already my chin has cleared up already, and so did my forehead. Now I only have to get rid of 2 more, and my skin will be completely clear.

Cons:

It doesn't smell to good.

I can't really say that much becasuse of the little time i've used it for, but hey! It works better then proactive EVER, EVER did for me, and i tried proactive for like, 2 months, and this was way better.

Pros:

I am past the severe stage and only have moderate skin, I've tried alot of things and 3step benzoyl systems work well for me. Works as advertised although made my skin worse before better.

Cons:

Dry, irritated, worse .... Then better. Citrus type scent for cleanser, light-ALC smell on toner, Lotion smells like Clay but I only use it once a day

For something this affordable it's worth a try I say.

Pros:

It starts working within the first week. I have noticed my active-new pimples are already gone, and the ones that I have had forever are starting to clear. It is easy to use, and the directions are very clear.

Cons:

The wash, to me, seems to have an akward number of scrubbling beads, and, the day-cream seems extremely gritty, but other than that, nothing.

Hey. It works for me. That is what matters, right? You won't lose anything by trying it!

Pros:

- It works!
- Pleasant fragrance
- Makes skin feel 10x healthier after using it for a few weeks

Cons:

- Made me break out a bit more during the first week
- Dries skin out at first

I've been using the Acne Free Severe system for 3 weeks now and have seen a noticeable difference in my skin. True, it did make me break out a little more at first (I've heard most regimens do) and my skin was a little flaky, but my skin feels so much softer and healthier now (I think the retinol renewal complex is to thank for that). Almost all of my pimples are gone, and only 1 or 2 have formed since beginning the 2nd week of treatment. Even those that have formed are quick to recede after a day or so; I've also used Neutrogena's Rapic Clear Spot Treatment on these lone pimples, so maybe that has something to do with the quick healing time as well. I figure a few more weeks of use will tell me if this really is a "miracle" treatment...so far, I've been very pleased with the results!

Pros:

excellent price
pleasant scent, rinses off easily (cleanser)
leaves skin very soft

Cons:

might be overly drying on sensitive skin
have to be consistent in using to achieve results

Overall, I am very happy with this product. I have sensitive skin, and I found that if I use the products every other day (instead of what they recommend on the bottles), I achieve a good balance of keeping acne away and not drying out my skin. It does seem to cause less drying and peeling on my skin than other cleansers. Be careful with the spot treatment stuff - it works well but it is very strong. Only a little bit is needed. The cleanser rinses off the skin very well and skin feels very clean. The toner and repair lotion feel nice too - although go light on the repair lotion - you don't need a lot, just a think film. Too much and it can feel a bit greasy. overall, this is a good deal (esp if you buy the packs at Costco) and is worth trying. definitely cheaper than ProActive Solutions and no hassles with delivery or money back guarantees.
