Pros:

Skin feels very clean after the first use. Cleared my acne. Very affordable. Easily accessible at your local store.

Cons:

Runs out of toner way before you run out of the other two products

I just returned the cleanser that I ordered online from TV. Believe it or not, I am 46 years old but I tend to get acne during that time of the month and sometimes in between. I find the AcneFree to work quickly, and unlike others on this message board, it has not dried out my skin. Probably because I'm very oily to begin with. Bottom line, it is worth trying for the price. It may not work for everybody, but why spend all that money paying inflated prices and shipping costs, when you can purchase an inexpensive, effective product from your local Walmart.

Pros:

Easy to use and affordable. Two things that are important to me 'cause I'm a student and don't have a lot of time and money to spend on skin care. AcneFree not only eliminates my breakouts but it fades scaring and redness.

Cons:

It's drying and smells weird. That's okay though. I limit my usage to once a day and that does the job. Anymore would irritate my skin. I know I'm going to run out of toner before the other two. I wish they sold items separately for that reason.

For some reason got really, really bad when I moved this fall. I'm not sure if it's because of a change in my diet, stress, or not enough execise to help me sweat out toxins. All I know is that my skin has never been this bad before. Not even in my teenage years. I'm 22 years old and I should not have a face covered with acne. It's embarrasing. I hate wearing make-up (plus make-up seems to exaccerbate the problem) so I don't try to mask the problem. I've tried a lot of different products but nothing has helped much. I've seen this product at the store and decided to give it a shot last week. I'm glad I did. My face looks 75% better than it did this time last week. It's visably noticeable to others and they have commented on the improvement. I can't wait to see the improvement after a months use.

Pros:

It is really affordable and it seems to work really good.

Cons:

Does dry your skin out at first.

If you keep using this and dont get discouraged it really worked for me. I have used so many products for my moderate acne and nothing has worked as good as this. I still get a few pimples every once in a while but nothing like it used to be. It also seems like the pimples I get now are a lot smaller and easyer to cover up with makeup.

It has worked better than anything i have ever tried (and i've tried pretty much everything, except for proactiv). I have not had any problems with dryness or sensitivity. Very affordable.

will work but there's better options
I've used this system successfully, and I've had good luck with most of these proactiv type three step programs. this one has quite a bit of alcohol in the toner which I dislike. you can get the walmart equate version or actual proactiv ones that are alcohol free and have glycolic acid. the amount of BP is a bit higher in this system than in others, I believe it is 3.7 percent. they have a sensitive skin version that has an alcohol free toner and a cleanser with salicylic acid rather than benzoyl peroxide, but I haven't tried it myself. I would recommend having a good moisturizer on hand for the times or areas this might dry you out because it will eventually. I like the lotion type benzoyl peroxide treatment in these kits because it isn't as drying and my skin doesn't take kindly to most moisturizers (the search goes on). this is inexpensive and effective, so long as you don't have an allergy and go easy starting out with the products you will get good results with it.

It really works!
So let me start out by saying that my acne is not that bad. I have occasional pimples, usually during that time of the month and a few whiteheads that are barely noticeable. The first time I used this stuff it worked great, but step 3 really dried out my skin (I have dry skin). I usually just used step 1, once a day and it worked wonders, my skin was perfectly clear. When I ran out, I didn't go buy more I just started using other face soap that I had laying around. My skin started to get worse and worse, I finally went to walmart and bought the kit again and within in 3 days my skin is pretty much clear! I have been using step 2 and step, but I will probably stop once my skin starts to dry out (which is what I did last time) and just use step 1. My only complaint is that it does burn, and the smell is pretty bad, but I would rather put up with that than have bad skin! Sometime my skin does itch, not too sure why. I also use the terminator and that stuff is great as well. I would recommend this product!

Pros:

Inexpensive
Uses multiple ingredients
Gentle, yet highly effective
Easy to use

Cons:

Somewhat drying, but not too bad

This is one of the first products in YEARS that has dramatically improved my skin. I have been struggling with moderate acne for several years now. My most recent attempt at clearing it was using The Regimen (benzoyl peroxide treatment). I found that this method did not work for me, even when following it correctly. I think the overuse of lotion is what didn't work for me. It never allowed my skin to completely flake off and renew itself. However, the Acne Free system is wonderful.

Pros:

Works quickly
Effective on severe acne
Can use on face, back, chest and arms

Cons:

Very drying
Three or four steps
Can be irritating to skin

Acne Free is a good product. I use it on my back, face, arms and chest. It works better than anything I have gotten from the dermatologist. However, watch out for drying and rebound break-outs. Don't use too often to avoid this.

Pros:

clears most acne (Sensitive skin kit)
fast
cheap

Cons:

drys my cheeks, chin, and a little bit on my forehead

I picked up acnefree at walgreens a couple weeks ago. In about 4 days i started to see results. I had acne mostly on my forehead, but i also had blackheads and whiteheads on my nose. Now my acne on my forehead has gone down to around 2 little bumps. The white/blackheads on my nose are completely gone. I did notice that when i didn't use the cleanser for a day or two that my chin started getting little bumps. I picked back up to using the whole 3 steps every day and it leaves my skin clean! I absolutly love acnefree!

Pros:

cheap, works quickly, easy to use

Cons:

drying

I bought this product 4-5 days ago. I literally can not see half the acne spots I had. These spots were bad enough it took skill to cover them with concealer. The texture of my skin has improved greatly and I can use a tinted moisturizer to cover the flaws instead of thick foundations. I did burn and itch a little bit and still does, but I think that's mainly due to dryness. I live in a cold windy state and I would definitely recommend you use a moisturizer with this. I even used baby oil at one point. As long as you can balance out the dryness this product is definitely worth it. I've tried Proactive, Nuetrogena, Clean and Clear.. all that stuff and this works WAY better.
