Multi-use: keeps flakes at bay
Have been using it for about a month (since starting the acne.org regimine). Not only have I been using this stuff as a moisturizer, but also sort of as an exfoliant, facial mask, and eye makeup remover. At night I will get a blueberry-sized clump in my hands, warm it up really well by rubbing together, then massage it gently all over my face. This removes some flakes from the dryness, reduces the redness from BP irritation, as well as take off my mascara (that's all I wear while on the regimine). Then after wash and BP, I tale a pea sized amount to use for moisturizer. I do a small pea sized amount in the morning as well and just pat it on my face before I leave. Doesn't leave me too greasy either.

Great for skin tone, bad for acne
I have combination/oily, sensitive acne-prone skin. I wanted this to work really bad because it did improve my skin texture and reduced redness dramatically, however after a week I felt like it was a clogging my pores a bit and increasing the amount of blackheads. I still use it on my dry patches and it works well for that but not for acne.

Great for dry skin acne!
If normal moisturisers are ineffective or irritate your skin, this is for you! (Only use at night!)

Cons:

I kept getting large breakouts after continued use.

I purchased Maiga Facial Cleanser and Maiga Handmade Shea Butter (with aloe vera) to help with my acne. Used them both at night for 5 weeks and I continued to develop new large breakouts. I called the company and they were not pleasant to speak with. After some hassle, I was able to get my money back, and apparently the sales rep sold me the wrong type of shea butter.

Pros:

It softens my skin

Cons:

its very greasy

I got some unrefined and refined shea butter from africa while on vacation. It made my skin feel very soft (especially heels) I recommended it to everyone i knew, but after about 2 months it stopped working on my skin. And the shea butter is still good because i kept it in a cool dry place and its not expired since it was made while i was on vactation.

Pros:

Isn'y greasy like Vitamin E lotion

Cons:

Nothing really

Dry up my whiteheads unlike Plamer's Vitamin E. My scars looks light on the first day. I was shock how fast it work. Well I use shea butter with Aloe Vera lotion, so I don't know which one is working
