I think they say to keep it to a minimum mainly because of your liver. Accutane is processed thru the liver - and it can be taxing on it. Alcohol is also processed thru your liver. If you do both, ...

My feeling is that it can't hurt to try it. You can always stop accutane if it doesn't feel right. just my 2 cents.

I talked w my dr and since we can't change my dosage at this point, I've decided to do 2 doses of 40 mg one day, then the next just one dosage. I feel better about this dosage.
