I seem to get creams that work brilliantly for a few days then seem to lose about 90% of their effect after a few days, do you get that?

Ive used a variety of creams like duac, zeneryt, quinoderm, epiduo and all have a decent effect for the first couple of days and then do virtually nothing, is it just me or what is it all about?
