I just thought for anyone having this same problem id update, after a few months it stopped. I had the blood test and nothing was wrong. My doctor didn't seem that concerned.

I wouldn't attempt it, I was on an antibiotic (I can't remember which one but it was for acne) and got a wax, it took some of my skin off.
