i'm not sure on the zinc, but i have personally taken vitamin d3 to cure my acne. My skin is still a bit bumpy and dry. Maybe i will pair them up like you are doing.

Weird but true... i drink 2tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar in 8 oz of water, it cleared mine up in a few days. Good luck!!
