Many of the scars I have, have faded to white in about a week or two, but I have about 3-4 red spots, which at the beginning looked very red and still do (it's been ½ year). Now I can see it is NOT just hyperpigmentation. They are indented  . So what is the difference between these scars and the others, which apparently turn white quite fast.

Is it because the pimple ruins the blood vessel? Is it blood I can see still after ½ year?

Also, when you get a wound for another reason than acne - it never seems to make those red indented marks. At least they fade to white quite fast. How come?
