murmand 0 Share Posted October 31, 2005 Hello all,I am a 17 year old teenager with a question on my mind. THe site retin-amicro says not to use washes containg bp and reccomend a neutrogena wash. I have a prescription for brevoxyl 8 creamy wash. I use retina micro .1 at night and cleocin t solution in the morning. My question what wash should Iuse the neutrogen reccomended by the site, or the brevoxyl? Has your doctor prescribed a bp wash for you with retin-a micro and has it worked? Thanks for all your help,Dennis
precision response 0 Share Posted October 31, 2005 Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser is good. Cetaphil is better (best). You're a 17 year-old and a teenager? Astonishing. lol.
Carys 0 Share Posted November 1, 2005 I would just use something gentle, like Cetaphil or Purpose gel wash.
MrPink1 0 Share Posted November 1, 2005 cetaphil for sure. let the retin-a attempt to fix your acne, not crappy products like clearasil and neutragena that are full of all kinds of unnecessary chemicals and fragrances.
spottiedottie 0 Share Posted November 1, 2005 Retin-A Micro is manufactured by the OrthoNeutrogena corporation. That is the only reason they specifically recommend a Neutrogena wash.It may be a perfectly fine wash, but you shouldn't be limited to it.
