aloe vera and bp

Recommended Posts

dried out my skin really badly /= i was using dan's and Fruit Of The Earth 100% Aloe Vera.

I think aloe vera is great but perhaps your skin is really dry. Maybe you should use it to moisturize in between when you're not using bp. I think it really helps improve the overall texture of the skin.

what do you think

The leading bp gel here in Spain, "Peroxiben 2.5% Plus", contains aloe vera gel. I have been able to use this once a day (I have yet to move up to twice a day) without any additional moisturizer. So I would say that aloe vera and bp work nicely together.

On the other hand, my skin is not very sensitive. Your results may differ.

I use Aloe Vera 100% Gel and benzoyl peroxide together (BP, but not Dan's regimen BP, but it's still benzoyl peroxide nonetheless). I use Cetaphil then wait until my face dries around 10-15 minutes then apply Aloe Vera then wait until it seems into my skin then apply BP. It works fine for me ^^ Then I apply my moisturizer.

Nature's Cure BP 5% contains Aloe and Allointoin. Works AWESOME!!

Non drying and non irritating. WORKS WONDERS as it moisturizes while it heals with the BP.

Or you can do this while the nature's cure tube is small i do this:

Apply BP which ever (i use AcneFree 3.7%) wait for it to dry about 15 mins or so then apply ALOE VERA GEL (I either use the Plant or Forever Living's Aloe Vera)

It does tingle a bit, just massage it all over the face until it's fully ABSORBED!! so your face does'nt feel sticky.

Wait 25 mins and then sleep so it won't stick on my pillow. I also use Aloe Vera Gel in the morning but just spot treat my areas works really good as it heals with the BP in combonation.
