Easy walk in and act normal, yeah you'll get comments but they're mates joke about with them...

Dude, I come from a family of very caring, yet outspoken people. I went down to Germany and everyone saw my acne, but I had such a good time that I only got 2 comments over 2 weeks of being there.

Just be yourself, smile and it goes away. biggrin.gif

Act normal. Don't make fun of those with acne.

people aren't likely to say anything to you, but the hardest thing to do with acne is socialise and feel confident. I opt for the easy route, avoiding people; but that really isn't the best thing to do

Hum.

I try to get out of meeting them. Or pretend like I don't have anything on my face. Acne? What acne?

I guess in that sense, I'm lucky. I've had acne for so long that only those who babysat me as a kid knew me without acne.

I started breaking out at age 11 and haven't stopped. I'm 23 and a half now, and while it's slowly reducing in severity, I still have my grody and nasty weeks with it.

Okay, that's depressing. I've been dealing with acne for 13 years now. I'm going to go cry. sad.gif

But at least on this board, people know what I'm talking about when I say that.

What can be done? I am usually shocked. It does not happen a lot though. When it does happen, I feel sorry for them like I do with everybody who has acne.
