Redmarks and Broken Capillaries-

Recommended Posts

Hi all-- I usually post in the prescription forum. I'm battling some terrible red marks left over from the HORRENDOUS retin-a micro initial breakout I had. I'm really depressed about it because my skin looks alot worse than it actually is.

I also noticed on my upper cheeks, that I have some broken capillaries. I asked, and was told that Retin-A micro can cause this. Wonderful.

So- My question is- since I'm totally clueless on the subject- What can I do for the red marks? Has anyone done the Vbeam laser for red marks or capillaries? What do you actually look like after treatment? Are you able to go to work the next day- (basically, do you look like a bruised, red monster or not?)

Thanks for any help.

I've been WONDERING why I have so many damned broken capillaries on my face. I'm not using retin-a anymore (I used tretinoin for a good solid year), but it doesn't seem like they're going away.

I've been reading up on them and it seems like the only treatment for the veins is laser treatment, and it's pretty expensive. It's a bummer, too. I have a bunch of little broken capillaries on my face; it's kind of gross.
