Picking at them won't make them any better, it'll only make things worse. There are lots of remedies out there, you just need to look for that one which suits your skin the most.

For me, start off with natural ingredients first and if they do not work for you, that's when you try to look for the chemical ones as your last resort. It wouldn't hurt to see a dermatologist too to give you the professional advise that you need. Best of luck!
